Ben Mowat Violinist

I want to say that I booked Ben for my wedding on 7th November 2025 and I cannot fault his commitment to my wedding, going above and beyond with anything I asked of him. He helped me do some song sheets for my guests and even ended up with 2 little guests moving their seats to watch him more intently and Ben helped them and interacted with them and made their wedding experience an amazing day. Being only 7 and 8 years old Ben had all the time and patience with them, Ben was fabulous nothing was ever too much. All my guests had a fabulous time listening and singing and interacting with Ben. I would highly recommend using Ben at your wedding or any event you have up and coming. His violin skills were superb and he is a great all round entertainer

Ben really delivered for a very Jamaican wedding. He completely understood the assignment and took the time to learn lots of new music which would appeal to our guests during a cocktaik hour. The feedback from guests has been amazing and we've seen so many videos guests took because they were so wowed. I'd use him again in a heartbeat and he really added a magical touch to our day.

Having Ben play at our wedding was wonderful. The whole process was super smooth and easy. Communication was really clear and he talked us through the wide range of options to choose from that he could play, as well as collaborating well with other musicians we had play on the day too. But most of all it was his friendly nature and wonderful music that added a lovely touch to a special day.

He was incredibly helpful beforehand when choosing the music - he understood what we wanted, made suggestions (including sending us links and playing us pieces in person) and listened to our suggestions. We were very happy with the final mix of things we'd chosen and his suggestions. Communication was good and he arrived early on the day to set up so we didn't have to worry about anything. And the music itself was beautiful. I don't think there was a dry eye in the house! Friendly, professional and very talented.

Ben was absolutely fantastic! I would highly recommend him! He was our favourite wedding supplier, with great commutation, eager and enthusiastic in helping you create a special occasion. He actually learnt several new musical pieces for our wedding and performed them incredibly! Including the Jurassic park theme tune and a song from the XX!

Ben was brillliant! From our inital enquiry to playing on the day, he was professional, prompt and cheerful. The range of music he can perform is incredible, and we loved that he catered his playlist to us. He plays beautifully and it really enhanced the atmosphere of our wedding welcome drinks after the ceremony. Absolutely brilliant, couldn't recomend Ben any more. Arrived early to our wedding venue, knew what songs to play and added the perfect filler songs when required. Also, played at our reception for everyone arriving! Fantastic

Ben was everything we expected and more. Despite of the weather, the show went on and Ben lifted everyone’s spirits. Some of the best moments of our wedding was singing along outside under a pavilions whilst it was raining. He is a beautiful violinist, very professional and would 100% recommend to anyone. I don’t think words are enough to describe how stunningly beautiful Ben plays and how his music can bring so much joy to people. Ben was nothing but perfection from the start, friendly, helpful and so accommodating. During our ceremony he played what was agreed and had me and my family in tears. During the reception he had my niece twirling and bouncing around. So many guest commented on just how wonderful he was. I can not recommend highly him enough,And can not put into works thankful I am. You really did make it magical!
