Boogie Monsters are the UK’s multi-award winning, fun and interactive pop and rock party band for kids and families!

Boogie Monsters are the UK's multi-award winning live and interactive rock and pop band for kids and their families! Our awesome musicians perform a musical mash-up of current and classic chart hits, rocked-up action songs and funky nursery rhymes – brought to life with dance moves, colourful props, bubble blasts, confetti and more! You and your little ones will love the experience of dancing to an energetic and exciting live band together, in a fun and family-friendly gig environment – our music appeals to the grown-ups as much as it does the kids, and you’ll find plenty of tunes that you will know and love! You can book Boogie Monsters as a full five-piece electric rock & pop band with guitars, keyboards, drums and singer, or the band can also perform as an acoustic duo, trio or quartet, depending on your budget and the size of your venue. Each performance includes a tailor-made set list to suit your event and the age of your guests. Your Event As standard, Boogie Monsters music is aimed at children aged 7 and under. However, as experienced function band musicians, the band have performed at hundreds of weddings and corporate events and can also play as a party band for older children and adults too under the name of our party band - The Uproar!

What to expect

As standard, Boogie Monsters provide: - 60 minutes of fun and interactive live pop and rock tunes that will get everyone up on the dance floor - chart hits, action songs and funky nursery rhymes, tailored to suit the event and age of your guests. - Colourful scarves, bubbles, percussion, parachute etc will be used depending on what is possible due to the size of the event and number of guests. - Up to 3 hours hire - an hour to set up, an hour to perform and up to an hour to pack away. - Christmas and Halloween themes are catered for. - Background music from a playlist before the set begins, and in between sets where applicable. - For birthday parties, the band will include your child's favourite tune for free, which they can sing along with - perfect for budding pop-stars! - A small professional PA system (perfect for little ears!) and lighting package. - Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested professional equipment - For larger events (more than 100 people), or bigger venues (including outdoor events) you can book our upgraded PA & lighting system, which comes with a professional sound engineer. You can also add a professional DJ service to this option. - For smaller events, Boogie Monsters can play as an acoustic band, and are also available as an acoustic duo or trio.

Q: How long does setup take? A: Depending on the size of the event we can set up and sound check within 60 minutes (90 minutes for larger PA).
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: We require a minimum of 3 x 5 metres performance space and at least 2 double x 13amp plug sockets at each side of the stage. Parking as near to the performance space as possible for loading / unloading. Please let us know if any parking or height restrictions as we will bring a Transit van. For all day events - a space to get changed in, preferably private and secure, and tea / coffee / soft drinks. Hot meal / buffet may be required for all day / evening bookings.

Such a good time for the kids (and adults too). Went to the acoustic gig at Boxpark Croydon - great selection of songs from nursery rhymes with moves to follow to well known pop tunes. Added sensory element with instruments, fabrics, bubbles and a surprise at the end made it even better. Will definitely be back!

Great virtual birthday party with the mega talented Boogie Monsters. Kept a big group of 8 and 9 year olds engaged and entertained. Christmas Show

We took our 18month old to the Boogie Monsters Christmas gig in Reigate & it was superb! Our little boy loved it, & so did we! The band are great - what an amazing thing for a kid to experience a live band. And there’s always things going on - bubbles, scarves, percussion, dances. We’ll definitely be going again. So unique, there’s nothing else like it for kids.

I wanted to share thanks for a fantastic performance and family experience for those attending the performance last Saturday. It was a pleasure to present the band as part of the opening weekend of the Queen Elizabeth Hall foyer programme for Easter, and very much hope that you enjoyed the venue experience, the artistic setting and community which the band beautifully informed on the day. Thanks too for all your care to preparations and understanding for logistical detail in lead to the delivery. Boogie Monsters have performed two times at my school. They did not disappoint. Blending classic songs with new ones, they entertained our children and young people who have complex needs associated with autism and learning difficulties. We were recommended Boogie Monsters as the “best party ever!” - they didn’t disappoint. All the children (and a lot of the adults) were engaged and having fun. Dancing, singing, playing instruments and more. It had everything! The confetti cannons made for a fantastic ending. We love live music and hope one day the kids will share our passion.
