Act Introduction
HI! I'm David and planning your event just got a lot more fun and a lot less stressful! I've worked in the wedding/events/entertainment industry for 12 years and have planned and entertained at parties all over the UK and further, from intimate garden celebrations for that landmark birthday to huge weddings at central London venues such as The Dorchester Hotel and everything in between. My standard set up is solo guitar and vocals for daytime entertainment, moving onto a loop station for a full band feel as the evening warms up and finishing with a DJ party set to really fill that dancefloor! The cheapest, most efficient and least stressful way to plan all day entertainment for your wedding or event is to speak to one supplier that can tick all your boxes. I provide entertainment for your whole day, meaning your costs are lower and all equipment/travel etc is included in one final price! Every booking includes: - Zoom/phone call in advance to get to know each other and find out exactly what I can offer for your day - Prices fully inclusive of VAT so no hidden costs or surprises! - Professional PA system and all other necessary equipment - Full PAT test and Public Liability insurances up to £5million
What to expect
Born and raised Belfast, I trained at The Guildford School of Acting and since 2015 I’ve performed to happy audiences at countless weddings, events and private functions, both in the UK and worldwide. I've held residencies at 5* central London venues such as The Dorchester, The Rosewood Hotel and 45 Park Lane, performed for celebrities such as Ed Sheeran and Jason Momoa and I’ve also been lucky enough to travel the world performing on luxury cruise ships as a solo entertainer and, as a result of this, I have built an impressive repertoire to cover all ages and genres! My range of material can cater for any event or crowd. Take a look through my extensive repertoire to find artists like The Beatles, Van Morrison and Fleetwood Mac all the way through to Ed Sheeran, Avicii and Clean bandit. Walking down the aisle, a first dance, a 50th birthday or a welcome home party; these are moments you only experience once and I can help you make them that little bit more special.
FAQ
Q: How long does setup take? A: Set up for a standard solo guitar/vocal performance takes around 30 minutes but I'll arrive one hour before I start performing so we can have a chat through any specific details. If i'm performing with the loop station I'll need about 45 minutes to set up, DJ sets will bring my total set up time to about 90 minutes.
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: For live guitar/vocal performance, I need at least 2m x 2m, for DJ performance I'll need at least 4m x 2m. I'll have plenty of extension cables etc with me but I'll need to be within 5metres of 2 x standard plug sockets
Q: Do you take requests? A: YES! Asked him to stay for longer cos he was so good!

WOW! Its very difficult to describe a musician in words, but what i can say is that David was far better than i ever expected. EVERYONE single one of our guests commented on how well David sung. We didn't choose any songs for David to play, i just told him to go with the flow. I had organised for David to play for 4 hours, we actually asked him to stay for longer as the atmosphere was perfect. Unfortunately David couldn't stay longer has he was already booked for the rest of the evening. I am now desperately trying to think of another party i can host JUST so that he can play to all of us again! I cannot recommend David enough. Many thanks for the AMAZING afternoon you helped create.
