Michael played 3 sets at a recent birthday party. He was punctual and played a selection of Ibiza style tracks both outside and inside at the venue. Thanks for helping to make my party special Michael.

Michael attended our daughters wedding on the 10th October 2024. Communication before the event was very good, and emailed a play list with play time of each track so we could pre organise this before our daughters big day. Michael took a lot of stress out of the planning by talking directly to the Wedding Planner and resident DJ. On the evening Michael arrived promptly and set up in no time with a swift introduction. The dance floor was very quiet before Michael arrived but in no time filled up to the tunes of Saxophoney. The guests loved Michael and his tunes and helped to create a great atmosphere for the evening. Many thanks for a great evening of entertainment and making our guests very happy. SaxoPhoney Michael played two wondering sax sets at my festival themed 40th. He was very professional to deal with and flexible as my requirements changed. His offered set list was varied with lots of songs I loved. His playing was great but his style is less interactive than other sax players I’ve seen. Good value.

Michael was the most amazing addition to our wedding reception! He played whilst evening guests were arriving and during room turnaround which created the most amazing vibe, his next set was playing with our DJ on the dancefloor which definitely got people on the dancefloor. He truly was amazing and I would absolutely book for any future events.

Michael was a great addition to my friend's hen party in Brighton. He was super communicative in the run-up making sure that all details were ironed out, and then arrived promptly for the party. Michael's playing was great and he kept us all entertained for the time he was there - thank you!

SaxoPhoney Michael entertained our guests during our drinks reception after our wedding ceremony. Despite myself and my husband being very busy taking photos, everyone enjoyed the Ibiza style sax. He was on hand prior if we had any questions and we would highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Michael as your saxophonist. He was quick to respond to my request to play at my boyfriends 21st and didn’t disappoint at all! He created a lively atmosphere with the guests and added an extra special touch to the day.

We wanted a sax player to offer a bit more of a chilled vibe and then some Ibiza type sounds for our guests on arrival at the reception. It was a lot better than no music or just a DJ playing tunes. Classic Sax was great interacting the sax with his own songs playing and then the Ibiza music was amazing, all our guests commented how it was one of the best weddings they had been to and Classic Sax was a part of that. He interacted with guests and was perfect for our Summer outdoor wedding. Highly recommend!!!

We booked last minute as a surprise for my mums wedding! He made every thing so easy, was in contact from the point of booking and listened to any requests I had. My only request was to keep it a surprise and to bring the party! And he definitely did this. He was amazing, had all the guests up on their feet dancing and so many people commented on how great he was. And best of all the bride and groom absolutely loved this special touch! Thank you so much and we will be sure to book again.

Michael was amazing for our wedding- We hired him to play for guest arrival and during our post ceremony drinks. We had requested 2 new songs, which he learnt and played excellently! It was the best vibe to take us from first drinks into party partyyyy with a great selection ranging from Jazz to Ibiza classics He mingled in and out of guests and created such a lovely atmosphere. We booked Michael for a garden party to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, he contacted us before the event to run through what music we would like and arrived in plenty of time. He has a wide ranging musical offering so we had instrumental for the first set and Ibiza for the second set, it was great afternoon and we are so glad that we booked Michael, our neighbours also have complimented how they enjoyed sitting in their gardens enjoying the music. Very professional performance from start to finish. Michael interacted with the guests and set a good atmosphere for the party. Would highly recommend.

Michael showcased good skill and versatility, offering a wonderful variety of songs that kept the atmosphere vibrant and engaging. However, there were moments when the music seemed a bit too quiet and there were occasional connection issues that limited his mobility. Despite these minor hiccups, all my guests enjoyed his music.

Michael played beautifully and created just the right ambience for a drinks reception outside our church in challenging weather conditions!!! He had wind and rain to contend with but took it all in his stride and we are enormously grateful to him! I’d definitely recommend him.

Michael performed the early afternoon slot at our Mini Festival- With a mixture of slow, chilled and more upbeat interpretations of popular pieces, Michael really gave a lovely chilled accompaniment to the Sunny afternoon. His skilled Musicianship was greatly appreciated by myself and the 100 plus gathered to enjoy the day’s entertainment. Michael arrived well in time for his slot and was smart and really was a true professional during his performance. Michael was a wonderful addition to our daughter’s 21st birthday party. We chose jazz classics which perfectly set the mood for pre dinner drinks at an event for all ages. Great choice of classics and a can do attirude, we would hire Michael again tomorrow!

We had a great communication from the start. Michael came right before 5pm. Lots of our members started to arrive around 6pm and that's when he started his gig. We all loved his performance and energy. Especially the last song he played " Barbie Girl" - we were all amazed and really enjoyed the time. We're very much looking forward to collaborate with him in future for many other events.

Michael was fantastic and very patient with us - it was a complicated arrangement due to lots of personal circumstances that almost made our event impossible but Michael kept in contact and helped to make it happen. He played a great set and created a wonderful event for our family. Would highly recommend and we hope to repeat the experience in the future.

Classic Sax played for my 30th birthday and was fantastic. He made the whole process easy from start to finish, I asked if it was possible to learn a few extra songs to an already wide collection he had passed over and he did them with no problem. Highlight of the evening!

I am so honoured that Classic Sax played at my late husband's funeral..he did Richard proud.. The way Michael conveyed emotion through playing the pieces was incredible ..in the words of Charlie 'Bird' Parker "If you don't live it , it won't come out of your horn", meaning that music is your own experience, your thoughts , your wisdom..... Michael was a great addition to our wedding! He played one of my favourite tracks, Everlong by the Foo Fighters, on the saxophone while I walked down the aisle. It was such a great moment and made even more special by having live music at the ceremony. Everyone loved it and even the registrars commented how unusual it is. It was a fantastic start into the ceremony and got the energy up. Would be great as leaving the ceremony music too! I can't recommend enough hiring Michael for your wedding!
