Martyn was very easy to communicate with in the lead-up to the party, and when we needed to change their set times, they were happy to adapt. The adjectives such as 'amazing' and 'fantastic' are wholly inadequate to describe the Backbeats they were absolutely tremendous and scored 10 out of 10 from every one of the guests at my party. Brilliant and very highly recommended!! Well done lads!

We booked the band for a 70th Birthday celebration and what a fantastic night they gave us; the music just kept on coming, and the dancefloor was full all night. We couldn't have asked for anything more, nothing was too much trouble and so many of our guests said how good they were, how much they enjoyed the evening and what a great choice we had made. Thank you, Martyn and co, so much for making my birthday so memorable!

We booked this band for my dad's 80th birthday party and everyone loved them. They arrived on time to do all of their sound checks. They performed their hearts out all night and were full of good humour and each member was friendly and approachable. They played a good range of music for all the generations at the party and they even came and asked us what tracks we would like in the break so that it would feel like our party. We all had a wonderful night. The band were excellent playing exactly what we wanted, bringing back memories of the 60's. Within a few minutes of them starting to play the dance floor was full and stayed that way all night. The band members were friendly and could not do enough to make the experience perfect. At the end everyone was saying how good they were, so many compliments. We would definitely rebook if there is another occasion to allow us to do that.

Thank you to Martyn and the rest of the Backbeats for a fantastic evening, they played a mix of music for suit all ages and their live 60's music was perfect for the party with many commenting on how good they were. Communication was fantastic throughout and made the organisation of the party easier. I would not hesitate to recommend this band! Thanks again!

The Backbeats are a sensational 60's covers band, recreating a unique Sixties vibe that is not outdated but sounds fresh and contemporary and suitable for all ages. At our party the guests,both young and older, danced all evening to every song,in fact,the night wasn't long enough.

This great group played for us at our Community 50/60's Dance and they soon had everyone up dancing, some even started when the group were doing their "warm up"! It was a fantastic night and we got lots of good feedback. We would certainly recommend the Backbeats and hope we can have them back again sometime in the future.

The Backbeats played at our Silver Wedding anniversary party at Grindleton Pavilion last Saturday. As soon as the band started playing, people were immediately up on the dance floor. Despite the difference in age range of our guests, the music played by the band seemed to appeal to everyone. Having the Backbeats perform as a live band created a lively atmosphere. All our guests thought they were wonderful. A band definitely to be recommended.
