A massive thank you to The Cheers Function Band who provided the evening music at our wedding. The communication was excellent throughout and made the whole process very easy. The band were fantastic and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. Would highly recommended!

These guys rock, they played hit after hit and they were incredible. We spent most of the evening on the dance floor, their set list is huge and they had us all up and singing along. We opted for a 6 piece band and it was well worth it, the added musicians really filled out the sound experience. Totally recommend these guys. Even their sound check was quick, they made no fuss, no issues, turned up, rocked out and then left. We loved it! Thank you.

The band sounded fantastic and totally exceeded our expectations. We had so much fun dancing with our guests, young and old, which we have to credit the band for. They did such a great job keeping the energy up and getting people on the dancefloor. Communication was fantastic throughout the whole process. THANK YOU!

The Cheers played at our party on Saturday evening with a set between 8.30-9.30 and 10.00-11.00. They were FAB, with many of our guests asking how we had found such a great band. There pre-party arrangements were very easy with us being able to select a play list of our own choosing. We had the 5-piece band which was terrific. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We had a great night and the band were fantastic. They have a great repertoire, excellent vibe and were super easy to communicate with before the party to arrange everything. Thank you for making our party so special! Definitely recommend.

Absolutely phenomenal, they had everyone on the dance floor all night. Becca, our vocalist was also incredible. They created an amazing atmosphere and everyone commented on how amazing they were. The Cheers were amazing, I hired them for my wedding and I cannot recommend them enough. From start to finish there communication was excellent. They spoke with the venue directly and created a stress free experience for me. They answered any question I had, and had a very handy guide to use for timings and common questions from their previous experience. They were brilliant. The band itself is awesome, everyone at the wedding came and asked me where I found the band, they got everyone up and dancing. We had a male and female singer, both were excellent. The song choice they made, had everyone laughing, and bouncing around. You know there brilliant when the venue asked for their details to recommend them to other couples :D I have nothing bad to say, professional throughout, great communication and the music was just perfect. They also learnt our 1st dance song and smashed it out the park. Thanks Ben and the whole band, It was magical Roxanne & Matthew Langley.

We needed a band to suit ages from Uni graduates to wedding guests from 30yrs ago. The Cheers were amazing, all ages are still talking about them now! We had a marquee, stage, suitable electrics and dance floor, and wow, did they made the party rock. Ben was great with communication, very professionally documented and clear about their needs which was all reassuring. We booked well in advance... and so pleased that we did as it was fantastic! If only we could have more reasons for parties.

We hired The Cheers for a joint 50th birthday party on 10th August 2024 and were super impressed with the band from the very start of communication with Ben to the very end of the party. A big thanks to Ben for making the organisation process so easy and creating a really personable experience; and thanks to the rest of the band who were incredible and extremely talented! We got so much good feedback from everyone throughout the night and the biggest tell tale was the amount of people up dancing, smiling and having a fantastic time, so much that they didn't want the band to stop playing - the saxophonist was also a fabulous way to start the evening off - music can make or break a party and we definitely got it right by going with The Cheers!

The Cheers were absolutely incredible! We booked them for our wedding evening reception and they created such a fun atmosphere and got everyone on the dance floor. The communication we had beforehand was so helpful, they send through a questionnaire so they’ve got all the information they need and they were really helpful in advising what songs would sound best with the vocals we had chosen. Our wedding was in a marquee and we were a bit concerned about the band setting up in the same space as the wedding breakfast but we honestly barely noticed them arriving. They also paused the music and announced our cake cutting when we were running behind schedule. Would 100% recommend.

The Cheers provided exactly what we were looking for from our wedding band. We were attracted to their option of having up to three singers present and really varied repertoire. This meant that energy was really strong throughout, the increased size of the band adding to the sense of occasion and spectacle. The variety of tracks from disco, classics, rock and pop meant that there was something for everyone throughout the set. The band's experience and expertise meant that genres flowed seamlessly from one to the other. The Cheers were also very flexible both in advance of the performance and on the night. They were happy to accommodate requests for new songs in the repertoire beforehand and were also very patient as the day ran behind schedule, pushing back their start time.”

I hired The Cheers for my wedding and they were absolutely fantastic. Not only were they incredible on the day, with so much energy, exceptional performances, and friendly vibes, but they were so flexible and practical leading up to the wedding. I really appreciated how approachable and communicative Ben, the Band Manager, was and how he made me feel that we could figure out some of the practicalities as the wedding plans chopped and changed. A superb band, well organised, professional and got everyone on the dance floor every minute they performed. I would recommend to everyone and will be using The Cheers again, no doubt.

My husband & I booked The Cheers Function Band for our wedding on the 05/10/2023. After searching for hours and hours for a band they stood out the most as they had so many 5* reviews! And now we know why! We spoke to Ben throughout the whole process and his communication was excellent. We booked an acoustic duo set for our welcome drinks and the quartet band + saxophone for the evening! We were super keen to have a saxophone finish after seeing this at our friend’s wedding. It was a great addition and a fantastic way to end the night. The band was absolutely fantastic on the night. We would like to say a special thank you to our lead singer Seonaid - she was brilliant & really engaged with the guests. We had so much complaints about how amazing she was! The Cheers performed at our Christmas party, they arrived on time, were very organised and gave a great performance. Particularly liked their version of American boy! Would certainly recommend them to anyone requiring a band at their event.

The Cheers played for our wedding and were absolutely fantastic. The dancefloor was packed for the whole night and we had so many compliments from our guests about the quality of the music. Ben, their manager, is excellent at communication in the lead up to the day and so I didn't have any worries at all. Once again, the music was amazing, the band were so professional and we had the BEST evening. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

We had the cheers at our wedding in September 2023 and they were outstanding. I booked them because they played at another wedding I attended and loved them. Ben and the team never fail. All our guests had the best time and I’m sure the Cheers will be attending a few of their weddings too. 10/10 couldn’t recommend enough.

Thank you! The Cheers band were fantastic and haven’t got a single negative to say. They were all highly professional and so approachable from start to finish if anything needed to be adapted it wasn’t a problem. Thank you for a fabulous evening at our daughters wedding reception last weekend at Bury Court Barn. Amazing music, great variety of songs and perfect sound quality all night long. The dance floor was continuously packed which speaks for itself!

Just wanted to say Thankyou for Saturday. It was really awesome and everyone loved the band so much. The first dance song was incredible and it was just a really fun and awesome night! You kept us dancing all night and that was what we wanted so we are so grateful for that! And all the song choices were great!

The Cheers played at our wedding in August this year and were absolutely phenomenal from the first set to the last. They were new to the venue but you wouldn't have known. Fuss free, fantastic attitude and with the perfect amount of stage presence for a wedding. Furthermore, Ben, the band manager, was easy to contact, always engaging and friendly, and on-hand for anything we needed. I can't recommend these guys enough. Book them and you won't regret it!

Cannot recommend The Cheers enough. They performed at our wedding last weekend and we're fantastic. The live music was great and the playlist put together was perfect for the night and they really kept the evening going. Our guests loved it and the dance floor was full until the end ! I was shocked when Ben said we were there first wedding in a long while due to covid, we were none the wiser based on the performance. Ben was very communicative leading up to the event and also understandable last year when we had to cancel our wedding and shift the date. As I said at the start of the review I would recommend The Cheers to anyone in need of a live band.

The Cheers performed at our wedding in August 2021. They were absolutely fantastic and everyone had a brilliant time dancing. The acoustic duo were brilliant too. We couldn’t have wished for a better evening. A great band! The Cheers added fantastically to the atmosphere of my party; playing 60’s-to-now rock; brilliant for dancing. Also – for you hosts out there – so easy to deal with: efficient; prompt responses; clear info; a great playlist; did what and when they promised – excellent.

We had The Cheers play at our wedding in April and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The band were great fun, very talented and got everyone dancing all night. They listened carefully to our song preferences and created a setlist that was perfect for our wedding style. In addition, they played our first song live which made our first dance extra special. They were professional, helpful and friendly, both in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself. The communication was clear throughout and they even arrived slightly earlier so that they weren’t setting up during the wedding breakfast. We had been slightly unsure about whether to hire a band as the cost is much higher than a DJ, but we have absolutely no regrets at all, and we would most definitely recommend The Cheers to others.

Without a doubt The Cheers made my birthday! Every single guest commented on how brilliant they were. From the moment of enquiring about booking to packing up on Saturday, the band were so lovely. Ben just understood exactly what I wanted and the fact that they learnt my favourite song and accommodated ten of us singing the chorus was just amazing! As was the gentle encouragement to get people up and dancing The selection of music (and the comfortable volume) was just perfect! All in all I cannot recommend The Cheers highly enough!

We hired The Cheers for our own wedding this year and they were absolutely wonderful! So easy to deal with and on the night the music was brilliant, everyone was dancing from our 5 year old daughter through to the ‘oldies’!!!! It was a great atmosphere, so much fun and really made our wedding day. The whole band were simply lovely – friendly and smiley and really accommodating to all our music requests. Highly recommend.

A huge thank you to The Cheers for playing at our summer party – they made sure the dancefloor was full all night long! Such a pleasure to work with, they made everything easy and stress-free and were happy to adapt to different timings on the night. They also had a great repertoire and had people from 5 to 85 dancing. We would highly recommend!

Just a quick note to thank you to you and the band for all your work towards Saturday evening at Chawton Ball. You were prompt and flexible, particularly when our start timings shifted a bit! As I mentioned, there was quite a bit at stake and usual high expectations from the band – and you definitely pulled it off: the dance floor was fit to burst and everyone begged for more! Thanks for creating a playlist for us, too and patiently dealing with the quirks of working with volunteers. Overall the evening was a success (and that’s a huge relief!).

These guys were absolutely superb. We hired them for our wedding. Ben gave a personal call after I enquired, they weren’t part of an agency. Very personable and very easy to talk to. We hadn’t met them before the day and you are never sure how these things can go but they by far exceeded our expectations. They had great energy on the night, which made for an incredible evening of their live tracks. Ben also helped produce a bespoke playlist for us and played these songs when they were not playing live. They were professional and supportive throughout the whole process and our guests loved their performance on the night. Thank you so much.

We organised The Cheers to play at our wedding in September 2018, and it was one of the best decisions of the day. I think there are three reasons why I would recommend them: 1. The music is great – The Cheers played a selection of oldies and new music to cater to the tastes of all our guests. We had a lot of kids and they even played some things purposefully to get them on the dance floor with their parents – a lovely touch. They are very talented musicians (with credentials!) and made everything sound great in our venue, even though they only had a short time to sound-check. We received numerous compliments that the band were excellent. They learnt our first dance perfectly and performed it exactly how we wanted. Just fantastic. 2. They are very professional – Our speeches and breakfast overran by about 45 minutes, but the band were extremely accommodating and calm about the delay. They setup extremely quickly to get us back on track and they were thoroughly proficient in breaking down at the end. They brought all their own equipment and everything looked and sounded great. 3. They were very easy to work with – Even though we didn’t meet the band until the day of the wedding, they were extremely easy and pleasant to deal with. Our main point of contact was Ben (the band manager) who was charming, quick to respond to calls and messages and very helpful. Formal arrangements were quick and professional and the entire interaction went very smoothly. Overall, the experience of hiring and hearing The Cheers was faultless. Thank you so much for rounding off our special day with fantastic entertainment.

The Cheers were absolutely flawless from start to finish. They played for our wedding in September and were the perfect choice. We loved that we had some control in picking the songs, they were so friendly and professional throughout booking etc and the performance just blew us away!! Incredible sound. We’ve been to a few weddings this year and this band blew the other function bands we’d seen out of the water. Thank you so much!!

We saw The Cheers perform at our friend’s wedding and noticed how they had everyone on the dance floor having a good time, they had an excellent repertoire and stood out among all the weddings we attended that year (6 in total). Getting in contact, a quote and the contracts all sorted was a breeze, with no hidden fees. They were honest and upfront about what the costs would be, and in the end, they were extremely good. Ben was incredible in the run up, super organised and responsive. He really went out of his way to be accommodating and gave us such peace of mind knowing it was all in safe hands. On the day they were fantastic. Many of our friends and family told us how much they loved the evening. The Cheers had everyone up on their feet and made the it a real party we wouldn’t forget! 10/10. If you’re looking for the perfect wedding band, look no further!

The band were great. The booking process was simple and they kept in touch in the lead up to my charity event. The dance floor was full as they played a good mix of music for all age groups and genres. Would highly recommend.

We love giving parties and also being guests and this band was the very best we ever experienced – they were fantastic! There were mainly two generations present around 40ish and over 70 and ALL our guests danced all evening, even an 89 year old! The atmosphere was indescribable and even the bar staff were dancing behind the bar. We left it up to the band to choose which songs, just gave them a few of our favourites from their list and that worked so well – as they clearly could read their audience. And to start with the saxophone player coming in on a solo was just brill.

The band did a brilliant job at my wedding. They really got the crowd going and played a great selection of songs. In amongst all the stress of organising a wedding, the band was one thing I didn’t need to worry about. Ben was really responsive to my questions and to the last minute requests that I had. We hired the two-piece set for our University Ball and they were absolutely exquisite. Everybody loved the energy, vibe and song selection, and they were also a dream logistically- Ben replied quickly and with a really friendly manner. Would definitely recommend this band to anyone that want’s to have a good time at their function!
