Act Introduction
Our band, The Swinging Magpies, perform a selection of jazz standards from the 1920s and 30s, crafted in the vintage style. Our line-up consists of clarinettist (doubling on alto sax and flute), bassoonist (doubling on alto sax and soprano sax) and baritone guitarist. The three of us sharing singing duties.
What to expect

Q: How long does setup take? A: We recommend clients to allow 60 minutes to set up and sound check.
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: We could fit in a performance area of 3 metres width/2 metres depth (excluding PA). We would need access to two mains sockets near the stage area.
Q: Do you take requests? A: Yes, we can take requests if received in advance.
