Act Introduction
20 years of experience Amy has been performing a mixed variety of music styles to a wide range of audience settings; from social clubs, elderly care homes, to charity events, church services and large outdoor country music festivals. Amy is a singer/songwriter in pop/country music with a background in musical theatre and easy listening music. Amy offers a wide range of shows to care homes from war-time Vera Lynn classics, rock n roll and easy listening to special act shows including The carpenters, Abba, Shania Twain, Fleetwood Mac, Adele, Ed Sheeran and The Shirelles. Her favourite set lists include Songs from the Musicals and Songs of Praise, which features her latest album release 'Abide with Me' her second CD album that she has been giving away since the lockdown pandemic to care homes across the country. Over 100 CDs have been gifted so far and Amy continues to gift every nursing home she visits with one of hr CDs. She also has an original album of songs which she has wrote herself in modern country/pop music.
What to expect
A warm, positive and uplifting concert experience with an excellent vocalist and entertainer! Amy is sure to arrive ready to listen first. Whatever your staff may want to explain, setting up in a professional manner and abiding by whaetver your rules are... If you would like her to speak to residents and introduce herself she will happily go round the room and say HI! Amy will make your residents feel relaxed, uplifted. She has been trained in support work, so excellent with client involvement, clapping, talking between songs and also flexible and sensitive to the needs of other people in the room (I.e. she will always do a second sound check with your staff of residents to check everyone is comfortable with the volume) Amy is open to song requests before arrival and will do her best to learnt the songs requested. Costumes! If it is a variety concert you are looking for Amy may change outfits half way through her set to keep the residents engaged and bring some colour and sprakle and positive vibes!

Q: How long does setup take? A: About 30 minutes, but depending if your residents are already in the room and want to chat, might be best to give it 45 mins to an hour before the start time.
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: Two plug sockets nearby a space to sing and have a speaker. A table to put the mixing desk on nearby where I would be singing.
Q: Do you take requests? A: Yes! But best before the event... Some care homes will ask there residents the week before to write their favourite songs on a list and send to me. I will then try my best to learnt hese requests and if the names of residents are given, I'm happy to name them, or even wish them happy birthday etc...
