Andy Ska is a one man multi-instrumentalist tribute show to all things 2Tone,ska & reggae & mod tunes. The show features live SAXOPHONE, GUITAR & vocals. Hits from Madness, The Specials, Madness .The Beat, UB40, The Lambrettas,The Who, etc

Act Introduction

Andy is a seasoned musician playing live music for over 30 years, starting out on the drums aged 14, moving on to other instruments over the years. He has run many successful bands, including top tribute bands, Amy Wynehouse, The Kommitments and he has played alongside The Stars Of the Commitments (which featured 3 members of the original movie band). Playing across the UK & Europe previously with 5 different UB40 tribute bands including some of the country’s leading tributes to the Birmingham reggae giants.

What to expect

His love of Ska & Reggae as culminated in this show. He has full PA, is an Equity member, with access to full public liability insurance, & all his equipment his P.A.T tested. The show is 2 x 45 mins sets of classic Ska & Reggae, some pop\reggae & mod tunes to appeal to a broad age range! Featuring top quality period stage costume Quality PAT tested equipment Andy is a consumate professional ,Happy to liase with his clients .Any issues will be quickly solved ,my focus is having a great event for all my customers.

FAQ

Q: How long does setup take? A: 60 mins minimum
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: Happy to play inside or out (weather permitting) Stage area is nice but can fit into small areas or larger spaces .Have quality backdrop banners to add to the sense of occasion.
Q: Do you take requests? A: Yes & No .if requested well in advance ? .possibly? but only really songs of my genre & then only if I'm able to source the backing track & I feel I can perform the song well enough . So please ask & I'll try and accomodate
