Anton & Georgina is a crossover classical duo specialising in light opera, musical theatre and crossover classical standards. - 2 High trained Professional Classical Singers.

There is a choice of 2 shows, both around one hour in length, one entitled: - - - “Musicals were our First love”, showcasing some of the most well knows musical theatre songs and duets, and the other “Crossing Over” which showcase more crossover classical arrangements of adult contemporary music and light opera. All our backing music is professional orchestral backing tracks but some numbers also have orchestral music dots for live orchestra purposes. We also have a friendly and funny banter in-between the beautifully sung music.

Bio

Anton van der Mere is a South African born, classical crossover tenor, Composer/ songwriter, recording artist, actor, producer and director. He studied Music at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa as well as at the Royal Collage of Music in London. Sang on the cruise ships for 11 years and did contracts in South Africa and New York City. Georgina Marina is a singer, songwriter, recording artist, actress, entertainer and pianist. She runs a character entertainment business while currently still studying BMUS HONS in Music.
