Welcome to Professor Archie’s Science Lab! At ASL, we pride ourselves on making science FUN while keeping it educational. As a science teacher with 8 years of experience, Mr. Archie knows exactly how to ensure children learn something new while celebrating on their special day. How We Operate Ordering an ASL party is easy! Every party is fully customisable and unique to the birthday child, ensuring they feel like the most important person on their special day. Whether they're a LEGO Legend, a Minecraft Maniac, or a Sonic the Hedgehog Savant, we can incorporate their favorite themes to add to the fun.

What to expect

Each party includes a mix of classic party games and exciting experiments. Every child goes home with at least one Take Home Science Project they’ve made themselves! Here’s a glimpse of some of the experiments and activities to expect: Science Experiments Lightning in a Bottle: The Science of Plasma! - Hands on experiments using the Power of Plasma, turning children into a living wire and learning how to light up bulbs without even touching them! To the Moon! Rocket Launching for Under-10s - Launching rockets using simple household ingredients and building your own launchable rocket to take home with you! Sweetie Science: Making Fizzy Sherbet! - Make your own delicious sherbet with Professor Archie's guidance and feel the fizz pop on your tongue! Make Your Own Jelly Worms - An all-star favourite, Instant Jelly Worms are wonderfully yucky, but also provide an opportunity to teach kids about the science of polymerisation! All Professor Archie needs is a table and a power source, and minds for moulding!

Optional Extras

Provided at cost, these optional extras can make your event even more exciting! Dry Ice Show - £50: Fascinating Freezing Fun with one of the coldest substances on earth! Witness huge plumes of sublimated gas erupt like a volcano, launch CO2 powered rockets, and feel the ice cold smoke run between your fingers with a show your young scientist will never forget! (Note: due to its extremely low temperature, dry ice is difficult to store and must be delivered from a specialist supplier on or just before the day of the event. Professor Archie is fully trained in the safe handling of dry ice and the highest safety standards are adhered to.) - Super Scientist Pack - £15: Includes a lab coat, goggles, and a personalized LARGE birthday badge (55mm, Heart or Star shaped) - Custom Badges - £1.50 per badge for the first 20 badges, then £1 after (bulk orders available). Made in house on our very own badge press, we can create fun mementos for guests with a custom badge featuring an image of your choice - a company logo, a holiday greeting, or the birthday child's face! (38mm, Circle shaped). (Upgrade to large Heart or Star badges for an additional £1 per badge)

Q: How long does setup take? A: Setup can take place in as little as half an hour, although more time is preferred if possible to fully get to grips with the available space.
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: We need a single table to display experiments and materials on, and a seating area to watch from. If party games are taking place, then a suitably large dance floor/activity space will be necessary as well. A plug socket near the table is also required.
Q: Do you take requests? A: Of course! Professor Archie's Science Lab is infinitely customisable - any theme can be incorporated into the event, from Christmas themed experiments for a corporate holiday party, to Pokemon, Sonic the Hedgehog, or any other favourite games or cartoons at a child's birthday. We can also offer dedicated Science Workshops based around specific topics, such as Rockets and Flying machines, Astrophysics, Ecology and Sustainability, or Chemistry!
