Awakening Savannah, are a rock covers band from the south west of England and was formed by Steve Tanner (Guitar and vocals) and Andy Molyneaux (Bass guitar) in 2017 and then joined by Liam Dearing (drummer) later in the same year. The band subsequently became a quartet in 2021 when they recruited a fourth member Aiden Drever (lead guitar)
After playing several years as an original outfit and performing at some iconic music venues across the UK, Awakening Savannah are now fully focussed on delivering covers from bands that have influenced them and others over the years.
This 4-piece band are passionate about the UK/Global rock scene which projects through the music they play and mirrored with the energetic live performance they deliver to venues across the UK. Melodic guitar riffs, hard hitting drums and gravelly vocals combined with the occasional epic lead solo, the band are able to perfectly recreate the sound from some of the greatest rock bands on the planet. Foo Fighters, Stereophonics, The Killers, Radiohead, ACDC, Feeder and 30 Seconds to Mars are just a few of the artists Awakening Savannah pay tribute to in their 2-hour set.
