A 5 piece wedding & function band based in Northern Ireland, now accepting bookings for 2024. From the band, you can expect: - Top level musical calibre - High-energy performance - Great sound quality from a dedicated sound engineer - A reliable and professional reassurance - A killer setlist For Barely Functional, musical excellence is our top priority; we want the party dancing all night long, and we provide the groove and good vibes to keep everyone on the dancefloor. Our members have played hundreds of weddings and have a wealth of experience in our field; you can rest assured that your evening is in good hands!

What to expect

Barely Functional will perform for a total of two hours: we can divide those two hours into either two 1-hour sets, or three 40-minute sets at your discretion. Our setlist draws from popular songs from the 1960's to the present day, and ranges from the genres soul and disco, to rock, pop, and country. In-between sets and during our pack-down, a basic DJ service will be provided so that there is no awkward silence! This service will be extended to our contracted finish time.

Q: How long does setup take? A: 1 hour
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: For space: We require a space of approx 20' wide and 8' deep. For power: We would typically require 3 sockets that aren't being shared with anyone else to ensure safety and power security.
Q: Do you take requests? A: If we are able to play the song, we will play it! (Depending on the appropriateness). We can also play the first dance if given enough notice beforehand.
