'Rock' Ceilidh Band and disco to raise the roof on your party
Act Introduction
Welcome to the 'Rock Ceilidh' Band - a collection of the finest musicians from all over Scotland - and we are looking forward to lifting the roof off your party! We rock the party by slaying well-known rock riffs amongst traditional ceilidh tunes. All our dances are easy and can be danced by every age and ability with full instructions given using fun-filled banter. We play for all types of events - weddings, birthday parties, Burns Suppers etc. and our aim is to make sure you and your guests have the best party you possibly could have!
What to expect
We arrive an hour in advance (or earlier if requested) to set up and sound check. For a wedding, if the newly-weds require a ceilidh dance for the first dance, we will play this (after giving instructions if required) otherwise, we play the song for the first dance through our disco system. Then we play our 'rock ceilidh' for approximately two hours, giving instructions for all our dances. Usually there is a break after two hours, or at the half time point. After a short break, most clients like to have disco until the end of the party, however we can play full ceilidh for up to four hours if required.
