Much more than a string quartet. Awarding winning singing, dancing, comedic musicians to wow your guests.

Bowjangles love to play. We sing whilst we play. We dance whilst we play. We leap, tumble, juggle and joke whilst we play! We have been together for 12 years and during that time we have performed all over the UK and further afield. We have performed on the Southbank for the Underbelly Festival, for Bulgari brand launches in Hong Kong and Mercedes events in China, we play at Glastonbury every year, won the 'Spirit of the Fringe' award at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2018, have been featured on the BBC's 'Yolanda's Band Jam', headlined the world's only music-comedy festival in Portugal, and members of our group have even played for the queen! We perform in schools and hospitals, on cruises and awards ceremonies all over the world. We love what we do!

What to expect

We have performed at every type of event you could imagine. Weddings, functions, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, all types of corporate events, birthday parties, awards ceremonies, drinks receptions, gala dinners, school events.. We have perfected the art of providing exactly what is needed at each unique event. You need an ice breaker to give your guests something to talk about? No problem. An after dinner show to bring the room back to life after a meal? We can do all this and more. Combined with traditional string quartet background music- or not- it's up to you, we can fit into your event however you'd like us to. We are happy to dress to fit in with any colour scheme, style or theme you may have. We can be unobtrusive and elegant as a background quartet, charming as a walkabout act, and quite literally jaw dropping as an after dinner show. Oh, and you have some special musical requests? FAQ

Q: How long does setup take? A: Set up takes 20 minutes if we are unamplified. If we are required to be amplified then a 30-60 minute sound check will be needed before guests arrive. Pack down takes 30 minutes.
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: We require an absolute minimmum of 2m x 4m or 3m x 3m to perform comfortably. Power requirements- if unamplified then we are good to go! If amplified we require 5 radio mics - 4x headsets and 1 lapel mic, a PA and a sound technician to be present before and during the performance. Unsure whether we would need to be amplified or not? It depends on the number of guests you have, how rowdy they are likely to be and whether you want them all to hear us, all the time! We can answer theses questions for you with just a little information from you so just drop us a message with a few more details an we will get back to you asap.
