Carnaby Army specialise in the music of the 60s. A 7 piece professional band, masterfully recreating a note for note show to take you back in time.

The Carnaby Army are an authentic sounding 6 piece 60s band. Now moving into theatres with large productions, but we still love playing private parties. This is as close to the original as you're going to hear the biggest hits from arguably the greatest decade of music the world has ever heard including hits from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Doors, The Who, The Animals, Cream, Johnny Kid and the Pirates, Lovin Spoonful, The Zombies, Swingin' Blue Jeans and many more... We use a hybrid blend of new top of the range and vintage equipment to recreate the original tone of 60's bands for a modern audience. We can also incorporate a highly experienced DJ for your event, available on request.

What to expect

The essence of the band is to recreate the true sounds of the 60s, we play songs that we love and that shows in our performances leaving no option but for you to get up, sing and dance all night!. Full hire includes a DB technologies ES sound system capable of crowds up to 200, mood lighting (additional hire options for larger audiences). Full backline included (drums, keyboard, bass, lead guitar/backing vocals, rhythm guitar/backing vocals, percussion/backing vocals, lead vocal) stage management, sound engineer. All equipment is PAT tested and PLI insurance cover up to £10m.

Q: How long does setup take? A: We'll need at least 3 hours to set up and sound check (there's a lot of kit!)
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: As a 7 piece band we will need at least 5m x 3m stage or ground area.
Q: Do you take requests? A: We have an extensive list of material which is constantly growing, currently there's around 85 songs to choose from.

Q: How long does setup take?

The only 60's cover band you need in your life, and yes you need them in your life. From their mesmeric lead singer Lee who's voice will make you think you've been transported through time to the summer of '69, to their virtuoso guitarist Matt who's style and presence hits the stage and crowd like a B-52 over Da Nang, you won't forget your first time hearing them and it certainly won't be your last.
