The Carnaby Army are an authentic sounding 6 piece 60s band. Now moving into theatres with large productions, but we still love playing private parties. This is as close to the original as you're going to hear the biggest hits from arguably the greatest decade of music the world has ever heard including hits from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Doors, The Who, The Animals, Cream, Johnny Kid and the Pirates, Lovin Spoonful, The Zombies, Swingin' Blue Jeans and many more...
We use a hybrid blend of new top of the range and vintage equipment to recreate the original tone of 60's bands for a modern audience.
We can also incorporate a highly experienced DJ for your event, available on request.
The essence of the band is to recreate the true sounds of the 60s, we play songs that we love and that shows in our performances leaving no option but for you to get up, sing and dance all night!.
Full hire includes a DB technologies ES sound system capable of crowds up to 200, mood lighting (additional hire options for larger audiences). Full backline included (drums, keyboard, bass, lead guitar/backing vocals, rhythm guitar/backing vocals, percussion/backing vocals, lead vocal) stage management, sound engineer. All equipment is PAT tested and PLI insurance cover up to £10m.

The best tribute band in UK!
Born in 1970, I grew up to the captivating echo of the great swinging Sixties courtesy of my father's vinyl collection, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Kinks, Hendrix, The Doors ... the list goes on and on. I totally love this era and I can say, without doubt, that I experienced what it must have been like to hear these bands live when I saw 'Carnaby Army' play at Twickenham. It was simply incredible; they rocked the crowd from first chord to last bow. The band members are clearly excellent musicians, full of authenticity and enthusiasm rocking a very modern look. They have all honed the set with scary precision - I LOVE THEM! MUST SEE BAND!

If you like good music
If you like good music (yeah yeah) .
Saw Carnaby Army at the Half Moon in Putney - they were superb. The authentic recreation of sound was incredible. The Who, Manfred Man, Beatles and much more. If you haven't seen them and you want authenticity, this band are a must. I am looking forward to seeing them again.

The 1960's was a unique and magical
The 1960's was a unique and magical decade for music globally. The UK was particularly prolific, with some of the most iconic supergroups in human history making their indelible mark on music culture. So called bands nowadays have their 15 minutes of bland fame and disappear, leaving no evidence they existed in the first place. But irrespective of when you were born, you will be familiar with the timeless music produced by the likes of The Who, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and the like. These bands transcend time and shaped modern music tastes for decades to come. Sadly I wasn't around to see any of them in their heyday. With The Carnaby Army however, I had my chance to experience a taste of what it must have been like. Here we have a group of highly talented individuals who have formed a sublime and totally coherent band. The chemistry between them onstage is electric, and they absolutely smashed every iconic track they played. Music now is largely bland and easily forgotten. Watching and listening to The Carnaby Army, I was literally thrown back in time 50 years. All traces of the laughably named x-factor, and pop idol, and all the utter crap they entail were expunged from my system. The Carnaby Army is pure, unadulterated rock and roll in its purest form. I for one will be going to see them whenever and wherever they gig from now on. If you like real music, you should too.
