Versatile entertainer CJ plays your favourites from the 30s to the present day.
Thanks so much, C J. You made our anniversary very special. We'll remember it for a long time - especially you playing our song!
This was a staff farewell do, and C J's music transformed the party. He was an absolute hit. People were dancing, singing along, and he very generously allowed a couple of our clients to use his equipment to perform their own tribute. C J offers a very friendly, personal service which was very much appreciated. I will definitely book him again.
C J Barton brought our venue alive, one of the best live music acts we've had. There was something for everybody in his set, and the audience didn't want to let him finish.
CJ performed solo at the Epilepsy Society's St Georges day event and what a show he put on! From start to finish CJ was friendly, confident and a proper entertainer. He engaged with the audience and tailored his performance to the needs of our residents. He bought all his own equipment and wasn't phased by the size of the crowd. CJ was really down to earth and approachable for communications. Thank you from the Epilepsy Society Activity Team and our residents for a proper knees up!
CJ played at my birthday party and was brilliant! The accompaniment to Afternoon Tea was lovely; but the singalong that followed was the highlight of the day. We chose the playlist together, which had everything from Jerusalem to Wonderwall. The Perfect Day finale was something I’ll never forget.
Thanks for making the music at my party yesterday. The sets were great and well chosen for this 65+ audience and the singalong, just the right length, was a great hit. Especial thanks for your flexibility, the moving around to different locations and impromptu contributions to our various entertainments as well as allowing your keyboard to be used by family musicians.
CJ was a dream to work with; with so much else to do with the party organising I had minimal contact with him, bless him but he handled it like a dream. Didn't get lost (like most of the guests); set himself up; and judged the day perfectly in terms of music and volume. I'd even thrown him a bit of a curveball request but he did it! Very happy and he was great with the guests too.
We very much enjoyed having CJ play at my 40th birthday. He called me a few days before the party to discuss the set up and my particular wishes. He kept me informed when he was a little late due to an accident on the M1... which was obviously out of his control. He played the piano & sung brilliantly and was friendly and charismatic and took requests. He had the whole party singing a rousing rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody (complete with a lyric sheet hand out for all) which was a highlight of a lovely day. Would definitely book again.
Fabulous! CJ was great. He did a fantastic job and really made my 50th birthday party on Sat night. My guests loved him and he even made the effort to perform my favourite song, having never done it before - I loved it. He was self sufficient, just got on with everything without much help from me!! I would 100% recommend him to anyone. Thank you CJ.
I wanted to have a more moderate sized party gathering so picking the right musician who could add a bit of flair, warmth and vibrance to the occasion was important to me. I selected CJ from the internet and I must say he delivered (plus some) to make the occasion memorable and fun. He was open to adding in a few specially chosen songs for me into his broad repertoire which made the experience even more personal. So, if you measure a party success by the number of people singing along and having a bop then CJ ticked both these boxes big time. His performance and versatility on the night was excellent. From Rag'n'Bone Man (Human) to Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody… followed by Killers - Mr Brightside says it all. I wanted to make sure this was a memorable night and he really did add something to the occasion. Big thanks CJ… I am sure you will be booked again by either me or one of my guests.
CJ entertained our group of elderly holocaust survivors and refugees at our North London anniversary party. He sang songs they all knew, and they joined in, tapping their feet and clapping their hands. They loved him – he knew what sort of music they would enjoy and delivered beautifully. We will definitely book him again.
