Ali Thomas has been working professionally as a wedding , party and karaoke DJ since 2012 . Based in Dorset and covering all this county and further.

Ali Thomas is a professional wedding party & karaoke DJing all around Dorset , Somerset and Devon since 2012, from small private parties to open air festivals with many 100's of party goers. Non smoker and always smartly dressed. Top of the range modern sound system maintained and updated often. Professional modern DJ booth with iluminating front facade. Over 40'000 tunes covering all decades and genres updated before every event. A tailored playlist can be pre arranged , plus request can be taken on the night. Karaoke can be added to a party disco .

What to expect

Ali arrives normally an hour before to set everything up , this will be the DJ booth , speaker system and lighting . The lighting is normally on a rig above the DJ booth but can be placed in other areas to maximise effect. A playlist can be pre arranged with requests from you , and or requests on the night . Ali has a knowledge of all genres of music built up over many years , and prides himself on accertaining the best music for each on the night to keep the dance floor full .

Q: How long does setup take? A: Normally 1hr to 1hr 30mins depending if venue is on a ground floor , the size of gig ( Karaoke added is a lot more extra equipment) and the logistics .
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: Ideally between 6 and 10 foot length is needed for the DJ booth speakers and lighting rig with a distance behind and in front of the dj of about 4 foot .
Q: Do you take requests? A: Yes , if the request is on our system which holds 40'000 plus songs we will play it . If your venue has WIFI I can locate any music.
