DJ Shelz is a British DJ who began her career in the early 1990s during the acid house era. She was the first female DJ on the pirate radio station Daja Vu. Born in East London. She started mixing at 14 years old, and by the time she was 16, she was already playing in the London club scene. House & Garage are a few of her favourite genres. In 1992, She joined the pirate radio station DajaVu under her real name, Sherry S. Daja, as it was known, was one of the most popular stations in London at the time. She hosted her own show on the station, and she quickly became a favourite among listeners. Now a preaenter on Shine879 she has her own show on Monday's 12pm - 2pm.
