Act Introduction
Wham!DuranLeague is a solo multi-tribute show dedicated to the lead singers of 3 of the most iconic acts of the 1980s, Wham! (George Michael), Duran Duran (Simon Le Bon) and The Human League (Phil Oakey). James Farrant performs all the hits of these iconic acts in a packed energetic show complete with costumes and theatrics together with professional sound and lighting.
What to expect
You will hear anthems such as Wake me up before you go go, Rio, Don't you want me, I'm Your Man, Hungry like the Wolf, Freedom, Together in Electric Dreams, Is there something I should know, Club Tropicana, Mirror Man and many more! James has been professionally performing in a number of leading tribute bands for many years and is now able to combine the same hit packed shows to clients who may not have the space, requirement or budget for full bands to these legendary acts. James has spent time studying the performances of these great icons to faithfully reproduce a show that both entertains and transports his audience back to the 80s heydays. James says "I started singing the songs of Wham! Duran Duran and The Human League from an early age and they have been influential in my own music journey. Being able to perform the songs of these legends is an honour and I hope clients enjoy hearing these songs as much as I enjoy performing them." James has over 15 years of professional experience performing many genres of pop, rock, indie and dance hits at Weddings, Parties, Venues and Corporate Events all over the UK and internationally and is able to ensure your event is a resounding success! James performed on my wife's 40th and it was an amazing performance. Every bit of music he played or sung was melodious and enjoyable. He was courteous and adaptable for the requests of songs despite the event was running bit late I will definitely recommend him and consider him for my next celebration

You made everyone’s night

I found James while perusing for a live musician for a surprise 70th birthday party we were holding for our mum. From start to finish, James was communicative and kept me informed every step of the way. We welcomed mum in while James played a small DJ set, then he sang live. I was blown away by his talent and the hypnotic smoothness of his voice. He played a further set after a break and really got the crowd up and dancing. All in all, a highly talented musician and I commend anyone who can get to the high pitches of the Spice Girls :-) We had some of the guests round for breakfast for the following morning and they too were completely blown away by his talent. Thank you so much James, you are one of a kind and we will definitely be calling on you again! You made everyone’s night, but most importantly, you made my mum’s night.
