Want some sort of alternative entertainment for your venue? - Well look no further than Enigmatic Murder Mysteries! Enigmatic Murder Mysteries offer a unique spin on the traditional formula you may be used to. We are the only Murder Mystery company in the south to include a fully portable escape room as part of the experience, giving guests TWO nights out for the price of one (who doesn't love a bargain?). We have many stories to choose from, whether it's the middle ages, post-war, or even modern day, we have it; we can even make you a custom-made story! Our events thrive on audience participation - being exciting and comedic occasions that are a treat for your regular crowd and new faces alike! What's there to wait for? You will be solving the biggest mystery your venue has ever seen before you know it!

What to expect

we have 2 formats for murder mysteries: Classic Murder Mystery: This involves a minimum of 6 professional actors who play characters that you must interrogate throughout the event and work out which one is the murderer. It is up to the guests as detectives to solve the clues, interrogate the suspects and maybe, just maybe, also end up as the murderer themselves! Guest Murder Mystery: This involves the guests becoming the suspects in a massive game of "Guess Who" to find out who the murderer might be! 2-3 Actors will play hosts to ensure the guests are having a great time and that clues are given out throughout the event. Both formats work well in a dining or drinking event and can entertain your guests for 2-4 hours.

How far in advance should I contact you?

It is always best to book at least a month in advance so we can arrange the story you would like, any guests you want picking on (we love to do this!) and any special requests you may have.

How long is the act?

A Murder Mystery Dinner lasts 3-4 Hours whilst a Murder Mystery Drink event lasts 2-3 Hours; however, these timings can be cut down on request.

Q: How long does setup take? A: Set-up takes roughly an hour to set up; we have to set up the escape room with its furniture and props and decorate the tables to the theme of the story.
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: We require one area to either dine or drink in (depending if you would like this to be a catered for event) and a separate room for the escape room; this can also be in the dining room, but will be covered up so the guests can't see.
Q: Do you take requests? A: We do take requests, we can tailor make a Murder Mystery event that centres around your venue/local history.
