Looking for a unique string quartet? Four are a young professional quartet available to play for your wedding day, event or a private function.

Four are an experienced group of professional musicians based across Central Scotland, who can add a unique, musical touch to your special day or event, filling the room with renditions on classical instruments.

What to expect

As well as your traditional classical music, we cover recent hits, such as ‘This is Me’, Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect’ and George Ezra’s ‘Shotgun’, to something more classic, such as ‘All You Need is Love’, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’, we have something for everyone, and if your favourite song is not already on the list we can arrange it for you for a small additional fee. We will work closely with you to plan your music, giving you a personal customer service and more than happy to answer any questions you might have regarding any event, however big or small.

FAQ

Q: How long does setup take? A: We will arrive to set up at your event venue 20-30 minutes before our scheduled start playing time, this time is not charged. It is quite normal for weddings to overrun, and we are happy to stay for an extra 15 minutes free of charge (ceremonies only).
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: We will need four armless chairs and we will need somewhere to store our cases and bags whilst we are playing. We require a space around 3m x 2m, but we are as flexible as possible with venue spaces. We do not require power unless you request us to be amplified, which may involve extra costs for equipment hire.
Q: Do you take requests? A: We take any requests in advanced. String arrangements work for the majority of music genres – classical, jazz, folk, pop, rock, musicals, and soundtracks. Some heavier genres like metal and rap are slightly trickier to arrange well for strings but we will discuss this with you if needed! Please note we charge a fee of £40 for any new music requests not on our song list (excluding hymns), please do ask if a song is not on our list - we may just have not updated it!
