As each party requires something different from a DJ, and equally, each DJ has something different to offer, that’s where Funky Disco's & Karaoke comes in. We will find out from you exactly what your party is all about, and what you want from a DJ and disco.
We’ll then select the right DJ from our team to come along and set up a high quality sound system, with a light show and special effects, and to play your very own choices of music (at your selected volume) in order to create the perfect atmosphere for you and your guests.

We know that reliability is without a doubt one of the biggest factors when considering which DJ and disco to book. We are very proud to say that we have 28 years of experience behind us, and a 100% reliability record in all of that time too!
WE HAVE NEVER LET ANYONE DOWN!
We have the required PAT (Electrical Safety Certificates) for all electrical gear, and PLI (Public Liability Insurance) which all discos need. Many venues will ask for copies of PLI to be sent through in advance. We will be happy sending copies either to you or direct to your venue upon request.
During our 28 years of providing entertainment we’ve built up the knowledge to be able to send the right member of our team of professional DJs to suit each and every party we do, and also to be able to still provide a disco if the unthinkable were to happen! We have a full back-up plan in constant operation. This includes spare equipment in the unlikely event that any of our high quality equipment were to go down. All of our vehicles have breakdown cover too, so in the very unlikely event that we were to breakdown, we’d have roadside assistance, and even get towed to the booking if we couldn’t be fixed at the roadside! We also always have back-up DJs available to us to cover absolutely any eventuality.

From night clubs of capacity between 20 – 1500 people, doing anything from a one hour to a six hour DJ slot, all the way to 70′s fancy-dress stage shows.
We’ve covered all types of venue imaginable, from a castle in the Borders, to holiday parks, and the local village hall.
We have experience working in clubs, pubs and on mobile discotheques and road shows all over the Southern, Central Scotland, Northumberland, Cumbria & Lancashire.ce.
