Acoustic / Electric String Ensemble for Weddings and Events creating the perfect soundtrack for every occasion!

Griff Strings regularly performs at a range of weddings and events, playing specially curated set lists to suit any occasion, whether it be as background music, music for bespoke themed events or luxury weddings. We also provide strings for musical theatre tours and classical performances alongside keeping up with tunes at the top of the charts, so have a large repertoire guaranteeing that every guest will enjoy. We have been playing together for years (all graduated from top music colleges) and are equally as experienced performing acoustic and electric sets. Past venues include Royal Concert Hall, Hull Arena, O2 indigo, RAK Studios and Abbey Road.

What to expect

Our performances are tailored to each individual event, providing a bespoke soundtrack to match your vision and brief. Our music options includes solo acts, duo, trio, quartets or larger string ensembles if requested and always make sure that we look as good as we sound, coordinating our outfits that work with the theme of each event! We also provide all our own equipment (PAT tested) including PA system and wireless instrument systems for roaming sets.

What are your instrument options?

We can perform on Acoustic or Electric instruments as Solo, Duo, Trio, Quartet or larger String Section (up to 10 performers)

Q: How long does setup take? A: We always aim to arrive about an hour before the performance start time to make sure we have enough time to set up, soundcheck and get ready to play! Please let us know if an earlier time would be required.
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: Please can we have 2m x 2m for a duo and up to 1m extra per extra performer We always aim to bring our wireless, battery powered equipment however everything is PAT tested if we'd need to charge anything.
Q: Do you take requests? A: Each package includes up to 5 song requests and we will work with you to create a playlist that includes your favourite music and go well with the vibe of your event.
