What to expect

The 3 of us will arrive in plenty of time for your event and set up efficiently and as unobtrusively as we can manage. Once our PA equipment is ready we can put on some "DJ" music for you if you wish. When it's time for us to perform our aim is to try to get everybody on the dance floor, which we do through careful selection of songs to suit the audience. Our huge set list features party favourites from all eras - the old days of rock n' roll, through 60's pop, soul, 70's classic rock, 80's favourites, 90's indie and right through to current day hits. We will also consider learning new songs for your event, time and suitability permitting - maybe you'd like your first dance with a live band? Our setlist has evolved over many years so we've learned what people respond well to - most of our songs are classic or new party favourites, but we've also found that often many people like us to totally rock out for a song or two - and we are totally happy to do that if you'd like! AC/DC anyone? We are a self-contained band with top quality professional equipment. We have our own PA and lighting. We are public liability insured and all our equipment is PAT tested. We are fully live with real drums, but are happy to perform at a comfortable volume to suit the venue and occasion Between sets our price includes DJ music played through our system - despite not being a "full" DJ experience we can usually take requests and adapt the music played to whatever is working well for the dancefloor.

Q: How long does setup take? A: We are usually loaded in, setup and sound-checked within an hour
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: We require just one plug socket close to the performance area and will use our own extension leads. We draw about 10 amps which is well within the capacity of a standard power supply. All our equipment is safety checked with the appropriate Portable Appliance Test (PAT) certificates.
Q: Do you take requests? A: We are happy to try to learn specific songs for your event, as long as we have sufficient time to learn them (at least one month) and we deem them to be a good fit for our band.
