From the age of 17, Jodie embarked on a long career as singer, working all over the world from Spain, Greece, Holland, Germany, Macau, China, Japan and more
Some where in the middle of all of the travel she also managed to achieve a 2.1 BA Hons Degree in Music and Media Management at the London Metropolitan University. It was during the university years that she bought her first pioneer controller and thought she would give DJing a go!
In 2012, Jodie embarked on a 3 month DJ China tour of all the largest clubs in Chengdu, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Zhuhai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen to name just a few.The tour was sponsored by Budweiser and Jodie covered 50 dates playing the best in electronic music to a hugely enthusiastic Chinese party crowd.
Following this Jodie went on to become the resident DJ for The Ritz Carlton, Flair bar in Chengdu, played at the Storm music festival, Temple Bar residency, Chevrolet’s new car launch and many more private events. As well as DJing in China, Jodie managed to make it to the last 60 contestants in the hugely popular ‘Chinese Idol’ - Jodie was the only westerner to reach the televised latter stages of the competition.
Jodie returned back to the UK in 2017 and has since put together a singer/DJ act which has been getting rave reviews up and down the country.

Jodie specialises in her passion for 90’s, disco, house, ibiza & dance classics with some old school bangers always thrown in for good measure. Her amazing vocal skills as a talented female singer means you get not only a DJ experience but live vocal samples spliced onto the mix.
In earlier years Jodie, completed all Music Theatre examinations with the London College of Music and Speech, passing with Grade 8. She has also achieved a 2.1 BA Hons Degree in Music and Media Management at the London Metropolitan University.
Jodie has plays at around 130 events per year including weddings, corporate events and private parties and loves helping clients get creative with their playlist to ensure that no two events are ever the same.

My husband told me a DJ had been booked for my 60th Birthday Bash I was sceptical as in the past DJ’s have played tracks that only they seem to like and have been drab to say the least.
Jodie was a breath for fresh air, glamourous, attentive, truly awesome.
She played the tracks that I had put together mixing them up to keep the party vibe going.
The magical moment happened when she started to sing Celebration by Kool and the gang. What a voice what a performance everyone started singing with her it was the start of a night filled with banging tunes and the powerful yet sweet voice of an angel.
My guests kept asking me where I got my incredible singing DJ from they were so impressed with her professionalism.
Would I hire Jodie again yes in a heartbeat she was fantastic.
Thanks Jodie for bringing the spark that ignited the dance floor you had me dancing for hours and I loved it.

I am the husband that hired Jodie and Jan my wife was sceptical to say the least. The night started a little badly as there were severe traffic issues in London’s west end and I was panicking that things wouldn’t get set up in time. Jodie arrived was calm and after I helped take the equipment to the basement room quickly set up her DJ equipment and that was the last thing I had to do with Jodie.
She managed the crowd extremely well and got all ages and fans of different music dancing and singing.
Jodie herself has a great singing voice and the perfect stage personality and managed the evening for me letting me enjoy it as much as the other guests. We didn’t give Jodie much idea of what we wanted other than sending hundreds of playlists and I thought I would need to be more involved but Jodie quickly found the tone of the room and managed the night.
My daughter and Granddaughter sang with Jodie on one of her songs and another guest sang a couple of songs to Jodie’s backing tracks.
I have had such positive feedback from all who were there saying great party and absolutely fantastic DJ.
Would I recommend Jodie?
If you want a DJ that manages the event, enthuses the crowd and allows you to enjoy the party I would wholeheartedly say YES.
