I am a songwriter, guitarist & magician with a completely unique after dinner show which is perfect for house parties or corporate events.

John Mosedale is a songwriter and guitarist who entered the folk scene at an age when many people are considering early retirement. Since then he has performed at Upton, Banbury, Cromer & Charmouth Folk Festivals, Worcester Music Festival and Brecon Fringe Festival, as well as host of folk clubs and other venues up and down the country. His all-original set is a blend of funny songs and more thought-provoking autobiographical material. Each song has a story behind it, with audiences turning into a sea of nodding heads as they relate to the stories being told and the finely crafted songs that follow. Before finding his new home as a songwriter, John spent half a lifetime in the magic world performing for corporate audiences, either as after dinner entertainment or with close up magic. There have been thousands of singer songwriters and thousands of magicians, but there has never been a musical magician or a magical musician. Until now.

What to expect

A one man self contained show either of music, magic or both. The full music show is an all original set of John's songs. Some are funny songs, some are chorus songs to join in with, and some are more serious songs, but each has a story behind it that John will share with you. John's completely original and unique Music & Magic show is a 35 minute show incorporating both music and magic in a never before seen way. There have been thousands of magicians and thousands of singer songwriters, but there has never been a musical magician or magical musician. Until now. Perfect as an after dinner cabaret, for corporate events or for house parties.

Q: How long does setup take? A: 30 minutes
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: Just enough room to stand up in, and if you're booking the music and magic show, have my small box of props at my side. I'm happy to perform acoustically or bring along my very small PA system and microphone. The PA system can be battery powered so no necessity for mains electricity.
Q: Do you take requests? A: No
