My Name is Jef Powell. I am an experienced mobile DJ & presenter. I have been a DJ for over 30 years, playing all kinds of events from school proms to wedding receptions, theme nights and corporate events.

What to expect

I have a high quality sound system and full colour lighting. My equipment is set up within a DJ booth for a clean stylish appearance. My music selection is made with your input, and chosen to ensure a great party atmosphere - using my years of experience as a professional entertainer, I can make all of your guests feel involved and happy to join in on the dance floor. I am confident on the microphone and happy to make any required announcements etc.

Can I provide a playlist?

No - I am happy to discuss the music you wish to be played, and will accept a list of suggestions along with your 'must have' tracks However if you are not confident that I have the experience to select the right music at the right time, reading the crowd and atmosphere of the event, - then I am not the DJ for your function.

Q: How long does setup take? A: approx 1 hour - depending on the venue access
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: A minimum area - 8 feet wide by 6 feet deep is required (2.4 X 1.8 Mtrs) A standard UK double power socket is all that is required
Q: Do you take requests? A: Yes I am happy to take requests - within the parameters of the event. 'Must have' tracks and genres should be discussed prior to booking.
