Marvellous Disco - providing quality mobile disco services to the North of England and Scottish borders. Although I do mostly specialise in wedding entertainment, I can cater for any type of event, from a teenage birthday party up to a 90th birthday party - and everything in between. My music is extremely varied, and I can cater for any age or music type from 60s & 70s to modern chart; from rock & roll to R&B; from dubstep to Punjabi. My equipment is valued at over £15,000 and includes the Liteconsole XPRS DJ booth, HK Audio speaker systems and many disco lights of various styles, including the beautiful Rezotube pack. When you book your event with Marvellous Disco, you are given your own secure section of our website where you can keep track of your event, submit any music requests that you may have and keep on top of your schedule (ie times for cake cutting, speeches etc.). What to expect

- I give you access to my database of songs so you can choose the music you would like to hear, or music you do not wish to be played. I can cater for just about any taste in music, from 70's & 80's nights through to modern dance/rnb nights! - I will dress for the occasion, and can happily arrive suited and booted if required. - I do not drink alcohol on the night, so you won't get any drunken antics from me! - I do not smoke. This means when you pay for a DJ to be there all night, the DJ is there all night - no cigarette breaks every 20 minutes. - I am skilled and I like to mix the music together into a seamless performance. - I will happily take requests on the night, and endevour to play as many appropriate song requests as possible. - Every night is different and I always perform from scratch. As well as playing your requests, I also play other good music that I know you & your guests will love! - I have PLI insurance, up to £5 million, and I am fully licensed with ProDub. - I use some of the best equipment in the business, including a HK Audio Elements sound system, Liteconsle XPRS DJ booth and top of the range lighting effects.

FAQ

Q: How long does setup take? A: Once all the equipment is carried into the venue, setup should take no more than 45 minutes. How long it takes to get everything into the venue depends on how close to the access point I can park.
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: My setup is pretty flexible and I can make it work in small or large areas. Ideally I would ask for at least 6 foot of space, more than this would be preferred. Any standard power point would be sufficient for my needs
Q: Do you take requests? A: I am more than happy to take requests, either on the night or before hand. You would get access to your own section on my website where you can build a playlist.

Q: How long does setup take?

Simon is a great lad and provided a fantastic DJ service for our evening wedding celebration in Morpeth in July 2019. He was on time to set up, played all the tunes that we had pre-ordered and relayed a few bride and groom requests to our guests over the microphone which we had asked for. Great mixing of songs throughout as well, great night had by all involved. Thanks Marvellous Disco - top night!!
