Mellow Guitar is the name used by Chris Flegg performing as a solo guitarist, providing guitar music (without vocals). Well known guitar tunes such as Cavatina and Classical Gas are unaccompanied whereas standards such as Autumn Leaves and Girl from Ipanema are performed against backing tracks.

What to expect

Chris can provide guitar music suitable for formal receptions or dinner music or less formal parties and events and performs a wide range of material in a distinctive style. A range of suitable amplification is available to suit the venue which can where needed be battery powered. Mellow Guitar is ideal in situations where the sound level needs to be controlled while contributing to the atmosphere in an entertaining way.

Q: How long does setup take? A: Set up takes 30 to 45 minutes though arrival time is generally one hour before starting.

Power required is a single mains outlet. by prior arrangement, all PA can be battery powered requiring no power supply.

Chris provided the music for our recent wedding reception. We wanted some chilled music to entertain guests whilst we enjoyed our afternoon tea. Chris was great, the music was just perfect for the occasion. We asked Chris to do our special song which was not one he was familiar with but he was very accommodating and learnt it especially for us. From the initial contact to the day communication was great and we felt confident in what Chris would do. We would highly recommended him.

Chris played during our reception drinks for our wedding and wowed all our guests with his wonderful music. We had to move the event three times due to lockdowns and he was ever flexible. His music was a brilliant balance between understated (to enable the event to flow) and mesmerizing.
