I do silly magic with music show for birthday parties, wedding receptions, graduation parties for nurseries and Christmas parties. I also do mix and mingle balloon modelling for fetes, open days and shop promotions.
Mr Custard’s Story
“After working as a volunteer presenter on Radio Nene Vally Hospital Radio, my journey as an entertainer started in Northampton in February 1992 when I started the Bluenose Disco .
The business was transformed in 1995 to become Bluenose Entertainments supplying disco’s to conference centre’s (Staverton Golf Complex in Daventry), Sports Clubs (Rushden & Diamond Football Club and Northamptonshire County Cricket Club). At the same time I became Mr. Custard and launched the Boogie Box and Magic Show with children’s fun magic shows.
In 2001 my wife joined me as Mrs Custard and we became the dream team for children’s parties in Northamptonshire.
I now entertain in Milton Keynes, Rutland, Leicestershire, Bedfordshire, Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Warwickshire, Essex and Oxfordshire”
Mr Custard Entertainments Today
Mrs Custard has now retired from entertaining but still supports Mr Custard especially with customer enquiries and as a consultant of balloon modelling & silliness!
Mr Custard is very experienced, with countless parties under his belt. He now has Mums & Dads booking him knowing from their own fun experiences as children that a great time will be had by all. From initially offering children’s parties in his local area, he now is in demand from Birmingham to Oxford also to Essex.

The Basic Show
Mr Custard's basic show is ideal for parties when there are other things going on like bouncy castles, face painter etc. Mr Custard can adapt at the drop of a silk to change from magic to balloon modelling to silly games. If you would like just the basic show this would include magic, musical statues and the birthday song.
The 90 Minute Super Saver (Best Value)
The 90 minute super saver is by far the best value party. Mr Custard does the usual 1 hour show but extends it to include more games like the hugely popular limbo, musical chairs, the football game or the pea brain game. As Mr Custard works right through the children enjoy their food when the entertainment is complete. It is cheaper than the 2 hour show and is better value.
The 2 Hour Party Banger
(all whistles & bells)
The 2 hour party banger is for clients that want balloon modelling while the children are eating the party food. Mr Custard can do the 1 hour show with games then announce the food is available. While the children are enjoying the food, Mr Custard will make the children a simple balloon sword, dog, giraffe etc. When the children have eaten their food, the birthday cake will be presented with Happy Birthday. The final 30 minutes of the show is spent having more fun with games and topping up balloon animals that sometimes get popped.
Q: How long does setup take?A: I need at least 30 minutes to set up especially now I sometimes use Music Videos (subject to conditions) Q: What are your space and power requirements?A: I can tailor my show but need the floor area of a bathroom (without the bath) in a medium sized house. Q: Do you take requests?A: Of course I take requests as long as I have the resources in my skills set. if it is music requests then I can cope with virtually any genre as long as it doesn't offend children and adults.

Mr Custard has entertain children in our setting for end of school year and Christmas party's. He is a great hit with our children and really gets them up and involved with his act. Fantastic kids party
We have used Mr custard two years in a row now, first year was pre covid. He had our kids party in laughter from the moment he arrived and setting up right until he left. Even had the adults entertained. We then used MR custard for two zoom party’s during covid. Both him and MRS custard had the kids fully entertained for a full hour on zoom which is a challenge in itself!
Can’t recommend him enough!
