Owen Hopwod is a singing guitarist with over 10 years experience performing weddings, events and parties. With an extensive and varied repertoire Owen can tailor his performance to your specific needs and provide your event with the perfect atmosphere. So whether it is dinner music to relax to, epic ballads to sing along to, or bangers to get up and dance to, Owen has got you covered. Owen is available in a number of different lineup options: Solo - Vocals/Guitar Duo - Vocals/Guitar & Cajon OR Vocals/Guitar & Piano Trio - Vocals/Guitar & Drums & Piano Included in the quote is the PA and lighting equipment to make sure everything looks and sounds great. We also offer playlists between sets at no extra cost If you prefer something a little more hands on we can offer manned playlist service. That means someone will be standing by to take requests and change up the music a bit to keep the dance floor going.

What to expect

My trio and I are well seasoned performers so we are well versed in handling the demands when it comes to weddings and events. You can rest assured that we can handle whatever curve balls are thrown on the day, we'll be able to handle it.

Q: How long does setup take? A: Usually around 1.5hrs for the trio and 1hr for the solo setup. We can sometimes accomodate for shorter set up and soundcheck times so please get in touch if this is an issue for you
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: We require: 2x 15A power outlets Around 3x3m stage space If outside: Shade from the weather Level ground
Q: Do you take requests? A: Absolutely! If there are songs you don't see on our list just ask. There is a good chance that we will know it already but if not, we are happy to learn a couple for a first dance or wedding ceremony.
