Q: How long does setup take? A: A close up Magic event, is 10 mins. A stage show event is 60 mins.
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: Minimum Space Dimensions Width: approx 3 metres (10 feet) free across the front of stage or performance area. Depth: approx 2.5 metres (8-9 feet) from front edge of stage / performance area to back, to allow space for props, movement and misdirection. Height clearance: at least 2.5 metres (8 feet), with no low hanging obstructions (lights, speakers, beams) over the performer’s space. Note: If stage is deeper or wider, that is fine; extra space gives more flexibility. But the minimum must be respected for safety and trick execution. Stage Setup & Configuration Flat, level stage surface: The floor must be stable, even, free from clutter, with no significant slope. Non-slippery surface: If the stage is very smooth or glossy, anti-slip mat or suitable footwear may be needed. Clear backstage / offstage area: Enough room immediately offstage (or behind curtains/plans) to allow for prop storage or quick prop changes. Approx 1-1.5 metres depth behind stage furniture or stage wings is desirable.
