Poppy Holiday is ideal for any Peaky Blinders/ Gatsby style Party singing songs such as the authentic Yes Sir That's My Baby to a 1920's style Dance Monkey and Pump Up The Jam! Poppy uses high quality backing tracks but uses a beautiful crisp sounding PA system with uplights and a Gatsby Back drop and other props such as photo booth props are provided by Poppy for your event. People describe Poppy as a 'Not In Your Face' type of singer who forces you to dance and sing. along but someone who is very friendly and fun and upbeat singer. Her gentle nature also seems to win the hearts of people who are naturally shy / or have learning difficulties etc and somehow she manages to bring out the best in them enjoying themselves during her performances. Poppy can adapt her performances to be family friendly too involving 1920's style puppets and games for families.

What to expect

I will be singing to high quality backing tracks for 90 minutes with a break in-between. I will be playing music in between sets. I can offer a couple of games with prizes ( optional) I will be dressed in a 1920's style dress to bring that authenticity to you party and will provide a Gatsby backdrop and props. I will be bringing unless told otherwise my uplights and can provide a sanitised spare mic for speeches.

Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: I just need about the size of a large rug as my pa is. not that big but it is powerful. I need a socket near by.

Pleasure to work with!

Poppy has been singing at The Fitzgerald since June 2021 and I can't say how much of a pleasure it is to work with her. She always turns up on time and conducts herself in the most professional manner. She is one of the most requested singers by our regulars and she knows how to work a crowd. The Fitzgerald is a Jazz/Gatsby themed bar, which suits Poppy's style perfectly. She has great knowledge of that era in particular and has adapted her set to suit our style.
