Jazzspirational grooves are essential plus upbeat funky numbers to bring the vibe and on the spot improvisation, 'true' stories and acid jazz flights make the cherry on top go POP! Come ready to laugh and dance.

What to expect

Their successful introduction to Margate during 2013's One Love festival has cemented the town's love of their upbeat soul brand with regular with gigs and party nights scheduled throughout the year. The band are a regular to feature at the annual Soul Festival and take over the Hopper stage for their annual Birthday party as part of the Faversham Hop Festival. Headed by the indomitable Ginger Bennett expect her to be EVERYBODY'S friend by the end of your gig. Pitching the interaction just right to fit the party mood. " My nan keeps asking how, Ginge is!! She thinks we are all family now.. LOL!" A firm jazz grounding means our musicians are able to take your favourite dance tunes and extend them for an impromptu 12" version. It means we NEVER EVER look, cheesy stale or jaded and no two gigs are ever the same. “We really try not to oversell ourselves in each area and will only play one or two venues in each town. We are a group of amateur professional musicians and this band is our train set. But don't assume we are not serious about music. This is great train"

Q: How long does setup take? A: Up to 1.5 hours including a discreet sound check
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: about 16' x 12' would be comfortable. Please make sure the space is clean and clear for our arrival and that there is power run to the area you need us to play. If we are playing outside. Please make sure the playing surface is level and there is a covering in case it is too hot or if it rains. Please run power to our performance site.. two double sockets would be ideal
Q: Do you take requests? A: our set list is long deep and wide... Well you could but trust us. We're a great little band that's why you booked us. If you especially love some songs on our song list, let us know and we will make sure we include as many of them as possible on the night. Equally tell us what songs you really don't like and we will avoid them. The only thing we try to politely discourage is when brides (and grooms) email through the exact set list. This makes it very difficult for the band who would usually choose their set based on a number of factors. When a band puts a set list together they’ll consider their audience, which songs go well together, which are nice to start with and which really end the night well. A set list is something that needs careful consideration which is why it’s nearly always best to leave it up to the band.
