We are a 6-piece Ceilidh band consisting of: caller, fiddle, accordion, flute, guitar, bass; or Barn Dances and Scots Ceilidhs

We are a 6-piece band consisting of: caller, fiddle, accordion, flute, guitar, bass; and have been providing vibrant, exciting dance music for weddings, private parties and social events in and around Kent for many years. This means that we have the expertise and experience to ensure that you and your guests have a highly enjoyable and memorable time. It does not matter whether you’re new to barn dances or an experienced ceilidh dancers, we’ve got everything you need for a ceilidh; from our charismatic fun caller to talented musicians, we provide our own sound system for any size of venue without it being overpowering. You can rely on us to arrive in good time suitably dressed for the occasion and ready to get your guests up and dancing. We will tailor the evening to your requirements and will discuss timings and arrangements with you well beforehand so that from the minute we arrive you know that we are ready to fit in with your evening and begin playing. We play a wide variety of Folk tunes for dancing, both original and taken from traditional sources, ideal for Barn dances, English Ceilidhs, Scots ceilidhs and Reeling. We can also offer folk songs and instrumental pieces if required.

What to expect

You can expect us to play through a programme of dances and songs (if required) for the whole evening. Most events last about 3 hours but we are happy to play for as long or as little as you require. We come with a full PA system capable of performing at any size of venue, which includes small halls and outside.

We have played for Folk festivals at home and on the near continent of Europe. Indeed we can speak French and German if required.

Fabulous band- the music was brilliant. The caller, Claire was kind and her enthusiasm made sure lots of people danced through the night. Re-Jigged Ceilidh Band were recommended to me by one of their players for our charity Barn Dance. They were great fun, friendly and very professional. Chris contacted me in advance to enquire about access, parking, and facilities in the hall to make correct arrangements. They arrived 1and 1/2 hours beforehand and set up their equipment efficiently. They looked good on stage with coloured lights along the front and dressed appropriately. Each member is a professional musician and the music was excellent, with balance and volume adjusted perfectly for the hall. They kept 90 people dancing for 3 hours, with an interval . It was a great atmosphere. I hope they will play for us again and I would not hesitate to recommend the Re-Jigged Ceilidh Band

I booked Rejigged for a Retirement Party and everything was arranged very efficiently. The band were very flexible and fitted in with supper and speeches etc. The music was really great its just a shame that people were a bit slow in joining in. All in all it was a very good event and I would be happy to recommend Rejigged.
