Acoustic Steel Pan Duo passionate about spreading joy, fun and friendship; performing contemporary covers by popular artists.

We are two friends based in West Sussex who are passionate about spreading joy, fun and friendship through the evocative sound of steel pans. Our music helps create a wonderful atmosphere for your special occasion and includes covers of vintage calypso, pop and Disney tunes. We perform in a relaxed, but highly professional style and pride ourselves on providing that important 'personal touch' for every customer. The joyful sound of our steel pans provides a wonderful ambience for weddings, receptions, fetes, festivals and more. We perform acoustically, without electrical equipment, meaning we can play at a variety of venues, including off-grid locations. We typically travel across the south of England, including: Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey, Dorset, Wiltshire and Kent but are happy to discuss your unique requirements if further afield.

What to expect

We pride ourselves on offering a set list that appeals to all ages, as well as a friendly, honest, reliable and professional service. So that you know what to expect and to avoid any disappointment, please be aware of the following: We prefer to blend into the background and let our music complement your special occasion. We do not offer a visual spectacle in terms of performance. We can play anywhere, as long as the ground is relatively flat and level and do not require a power supply. This also means that we do not provide recorded music between sets. You can request a particular song for your special day, however please provide at least 12 weeks notice so we can arrange and learn it without needing sheet music. We are very flexible and adaptable, so if you have any questions or particular requests, please ask and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Rebekah and Graham Steel Pan Duo are a performance music duo, who are passionate about spreading joy through the evocative sound of steel pans and bring fun and friendship to every performance. We have a wide and ever-expanding repertoire, providing beautiful contemporary music for parties, weddings, corporate events and many other occasions. We are happy to travel to gigs in East and West Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire.

What to expect

We perform beautiful contemporary music in a relaxed but highly professional style, to help create a wonderful atmosphere. Our set list includes songs by Ed Sheeran, Adele, Keane, Jess Glynne and we also play some Caribbean Soca. We perform acoustically without the need for sound equipment, which means we can play in locations where power is not available. It also means we do not provide recorded music between sets. We typically perform 3 sets lasting 30 minutes each however, we are flexible with timings, as we realise that event schedules can often be unpredictable.

We can perform in “off grid” locations e.g. receptions held in a field, garden, barn or beach, but cannot provide recorded music between sets. Outdoor performances are weather dependent and we reserve the right to decline to perform if we consider excessive wind, rain or sun would cause damage to our instruments. We advise having a back up plan for any event to mitigate possible bad weather.
