Act Introduction
Ruby is passionate, versatile performer with a flare for nostalgia, who just loves to sing and entertain her audience. Ruby began singing in church as a child and she attended Hazeldene stage school. Now she's performing professionally for just over 2 years. Ruby has regular bookings at Military events. It’s very much a passion of hers. She has performed at: Fisher House Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Armed Forces Day Remembrance Sunday The annual Violette Szabo picnic gathering in Herefordshire Violette Reine Elizabeth Szabo GC was a French/British Special Operations Executive agent during the Second World War and a posthumous recipient of the George Cross. Ruby considers it an honour to perform at this annual gathering remembering such a brave young lady. Ruby prides herself on all occasions to deliver a first class performance working with her clients to full fill their requirements and exceed their expectations. She always feels special when someone books her, whether it be a small intimate affair, wedding, club or a large outdoor event. Ruby always gives a 100% and is truly excited to hear from you.
What to expect
A first class performance. Warm and friendly interaction with the audience. Liaising before hand with the client to ensure all requirements will be met. I have a range of show clothes to suit any event. I’m completely open to my clients suggestions regarding song choices. I play suitable background music in between sets. As far a corporate charity and military events my PA system is used throughout the event. Example Armed Forces Day speeches my microphone will be used by various people etc. I have an a very varied repertoire. Basically nothing is too much trouble. We are a Special Needs Transport Company who supplies services for anyone who have mobility issues. We booked Ruby to perform at our Employee of the Year Awards 2018. In the ordinance were some of our Ring and Ride passengers and also children from one of the special schools we assist with transport. Ruby was amazing not only with her singing talents but also her talent of getting everyone to join in, including the children. We would not hesitate to book Ruby again.

Ruby has been one of our regular entertainers at Elizabeth House since 2017. Residents look forward to her visits and always enjoy a lively afternoon. Ruby sang for us at our Annual Bubbles and Lunch Charity event for Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer in Dec at the Burlington Hotel in Birmingham which was attended by over 200 Business women. Ruby was amazing and kept our audience thoroughly entertained with her choice of great songs. She was also dressed beautifully like a Mrs Christmas which was very appropriate for this Christmas event. Ruby was very professional throughout our whole event and we would not hesitate in booking her again for another occasion. It was a pleasure to welcome singer Ruby to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. She treated staff, patients and their families to a musical treat in the main hospital atrium singing a range of classics from the 1940s, ‘50s and ‘60s. Ruby performed for an hour and attracted people from all over the hospital to come and watch. She has great charisma and her interaction with those who watched was lovely and it was good to see the smiles on people's faces who passed by. If you want a fabulous voice and an amazing presence then Ruby is your lady! Cathryn 10/10

Q: How long does setup take? A: Between 20-45 minutes approx
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: Depending on the venue, I’m quite adaptable the smallest area probably 8ft X 5ft But again I’ll work with the client I can be quite resourceful (keeping to Heath & Saftey remits) As day as power goes one power point is sufficient.
Q: Do you take requests? A: Yes I take requests if it a particular special song (Anniversary Weddings & Birthdays etc) It’s always nice to know before hand so I rehearse providing firstly of course I’ll be able to do the piece justice and I can download a good quality back track.
