Shelley Lozano has worked professionally as a cabaret artiste and entertainer for over 35 years. Her work has taken her as far afield as Europe, Kathmandu, India and the Middle East. She is also an author and radio presenter with a weekly wildlife show and through her work, helps raise awareness and funds for endangered wildlife and offers fun and entertaining talks for a variety of functions and events.

'Endangered Wildlife and Conservation' takes a look at various conservation issues including the illegal pet trade and human-wildlife conflict and includes various facts about the plight of our endangered wildlife. Fully illustrated with beautiful photographs of big cats and other wildlife Shelley has taken on her travels around the world.
'The Ancient Art of Belly Dancing' is a talk about the history and culture of Middle Eastern belly dance which has become very popular in the West as a fun way of keeping fit, for all ages and abilities. Shelley has performed as a belly dancer in cabaret, and also taught belly dancing for over 30 years for adult education, various gyms and dance studios as well as on cruise ships and even via zoom. .
Shelley is also a published author and her book 'Wild & Free' is fully illustrated with photographs she has taken from her travels in the wild and include thought-provoking and inspirational poems to raise awareness for big cats, wildlife, nature and the environment. A large portion (20%) of the profits from the sale of her book goes back into the wildlife projects she supports for charities. Shelley is also available for book signings.
Shelley has raised thousands of pounds over the years for various charities to help endangered animals in the wild as well as improving conditions for big cats in captivity and through her work, she continues to raise awareness and funds for big cats and endangered wildlife.
Shelley Lozano started her professional career as a dancer and then formed her own act of limbo dancing and fire-eating. While working in the United Arab Emirates, she soon learnt the art of Middle-Eastern belly dance which she has taught and performed in many different countries. For several years Shelley worked as a DJ and also performed a magic/illusion act. She is a speaker and presenter, with her own local radio show, managed an entertainment agency for ten years, has written a book and various articles for magazines and appeared on numerous radio and television programmes and has worked with many celebrities in Theatres and on Cruise Ships.
With a life-long interest in wildlife and a passion for big cats, Shelley has also studied feline behaviour and over the years, raised awareness and funds several conservation projects and wildlife charities. Shelley grew up reading books and watching wildlife documentaries and programmes on the natural world and has met and been inspired by the work of Sir David Attenborough, wildlife artist David Shepherd, Virginia McKenna of Born Free and Jill Robinson of Animals Asia.

Her work has taken her as far-afield as Europe, Kathmandu, India and the UAE and given her a wealth of experience and knowledge in the entertainment industry.
Shelley Lozano performed as a Limbo Dancer/Fire Eater, Illusionist, Belly Dancer and DJ. She ran an Entertainments Agency for over 10 years and has taught, written articles on and performed Belly Dancing and appeared in several T.V. programmes and chat shows, radio and magazines.
Shelley has worked with and had the pleasure of supporting many named Artistes such as Tony Christie, Ken Dodd, Frankie Vaughan, Bob Monkhouse and June Whitfield in “What`s My Line?”, TVS – “Love me Love me not” and as a guest Artiste on ‘The Time the Place’ and appeared as a cabaret artiste in Peter Kay's series 'Phoenix Nights'. Appearances include the Channel 4 production of Peter Kay’s Pheonix Nights and as a guest Artiste on ‘Cybercafe’ for Meridian TV in November 2000, as guest Artiste/Limbo instructor for Meridian TV’ and ITV2’s “Date my Daughter” in 2005.
