Showaddywaddy Elite is a tribute act to the great Showaddywaddy of the 70s performing all the great numbers from You got what it takes to their number ONE song Under the moon of love and also including rock n roll numbers from the 50s.

What to expect

We will transport you back to the 70s with a great party atmosphere, as not only do we sing the great numbers but we also emulate all the dance moves that were performed on Top of the pops.

FAQ

Q: How long does setup take? A: you have a choice of performance times usually there are 2 sets the first lasting approximately 1 hour and the second set lasting approximately 1 hour and 20 mins or 3 sets each lasting approximately 45 mins with the last set slightly longer due to encores.
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: We prefer a large stage to accommodate 6 band members, these include Bass, Rhythm, & Lead Guitarist's, the Drummer and 2 front men who need room to perform the dance moves. However in the past the 2 front men have used some of the dance floor area where the stage has been to small to accommodate the whole band, which we find works quite well.
Q: Do you take requests? A: We don't take requests as a norm as we cover the majority of Showaddywaddy's tracks however if there is a song that the client would want us to perform (within reason) and with sufficient notice to learn the number, we can do so. For example one that springs to mind that we were asked to perform was Sweet Caroline.
