Mark Lanahan has been in the entertainment industry since 1994. From 2000 he started working with 'The Three Waiters' surprise corporate act performing all over the world for multi-national companies, royalty and celebrities. He has since started performing on his own as a 'Singing Master of Ceremonies' putting his expertise of the wedding market to good use by not only using his performing talent but also his immaculate hosting skills to ensure you and your guests have the perfect day.

What to expect

Amongst my many jobs I was a Hotel Manager in London and Security Officer & Steward at The Royal Albert Hall for over 8 years. I changed my life to follow my dream of Acting and Singing and in 1994 trained at the prestigious Drama Studio London. My most notable straight acting role was at the Royal National Theatre as ‘Launce’, along side my dog Norm as ‘Crab’ in ‘Two Gentlemen of Verona’. I appeared regularly at the Players Theatre Old Time Music Hall in the West End; Principle artist in Operas such as 'I Pagliacci' & 'De Fledermaus'; and have appeared in TV commercials and toured in plays all over Britain and Europe. In 2000 I started singing with the original surprise singing waiter act ‘The Three Waiters’ when it arrived on our shores from Australia, singing for royalty, heads of state and all manor of celebrities such as Rod Stewart, Robert Plant, Wayne Rooney and to such far flung places as Dubai, New York, the Seychelles, South Africa. Through my career I have been involved with just about every event situation from escorting HRH the Queen and dignitaries, to being Father Christmas! I bring all this experience to make your day unique and special.

Master of Ceremonies Singing Master of Ceremonies Pink Waiters Father Christmas Singing Santa I have been working in the Theatre, Wedding and Corporate industries since 1994. I have worked all over the world with the exception of South America, Australia or Asia Most of my work has been to high end clients acting as their banqueting manager or MC, so I have had to deal direct with them or their teams, dealing with all that entails in live situations and then performing. Clients include American Express (US), Emirates (new route openings) UAE Royal family, Rod Stewart, Robert Plant, Shirley Bassey, Princess Anne, multi national companies, such as Diageo etc from four guests to thousands. I bring all this experience with me to help plan, if need be, and then guide an event in my role as Master of Ceremonies/Toastmaster. I can also suggest and write script for introductions and I always advise main speakers to sound check rehearse as an advisor. Companies spend thousands of pounds on 'Names' who have no experience or sadly sometimes no personality. Services Master of Ceremonies, VOG Experienced host or guide through an event Singing Master of Ceremonies is fresh and unexpected with the added bonus of providing a client with surprise entertainment. Father Christmas arrives during dinner to present Secret Santa or specific gifts to clients Singing Santa appears to surprise and serenade in a ‘singalong’ and give ‘shout outs’ to depts or clients.
