Sophie Simonds is a multi instrumentalist and band leader from West London. Whatever your requirement, we have a setup to suit you! Such great past venues include: The Bedford, Balham, The Half Moon, Putney, Chelsea Arts Club, The Great Barn, Exeter and Wigmore Hall, Macclesfield -References for weddings available- No matter your event, we have a lineup to suit you, so get in touch with your dream music experience and we will do our utmost to make it a reality! We have full public liability insurance.

What to expect

SOLOIST - Ideal for signing the register, first dance, etc at weddings and other special celebrations - Choose one or more from - Singer / Saxophonist / Violinist - The soloist will ARRIVE prompt to set up a minimum of 60 MINS BEFORE FIRST SET. - The soloist will provide, if necessary, backing tracks via two 1000w PA speakers, and disco lighting - The soloist will then SOUNDCHECK, usually leaving a minimum of 30 MINUTES BETWEEN SOUNDCHECK AND FIRST SET. - The soloist will perform up to one hour of material, which can be split between various locations within the same event (must happen on same day) IF YOU CANNOT PROVIDE SOME FOOD FOR THE ACT, PLEASE INFORM US SO WE CAN MAKE OUR OWN ARRANGEMENTS!

Q: How long does setup take? A: Usually around 30 - 45 minutes dependant on location, but we can try to accommodate your timescale as much as possible.
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: If powered amplification is required, we require at least one mains power supply at the back of the stage, for which we have extension cables. Space is dependant, but we prefer a stage depth of at least 2 metres with at least a meter between us and any dancing patrons.
Q: Do you take requests? A: Yes! we aim to make your special day as personal as possible, so any special requests are welcome. We strive to put all the requested material in our setlist, so the more notice you give us of any requests, (minimum 2 weeks) the more likely we are to be able to learn the material, if we dont know it already. We are always happy to learn new material for first dances etc, again minimum 2 weeks warning is preferable

Very Talented Vocalist

A very talented vocalist is Sophie. With the versatility to adapt to most genres she has power and good control and a very impressive range. This coupled with a burning ambition to succeed means Sophie is definitely one to watch. She recorded in our studio a few weeks back and she is also a really lovely girl and an absolute pleasure to work with.
