Graduates of the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music, the Sorelli Ensemble are a highly talented violin & cello duo.

Graduates of the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music, Julia and Sara have performed throughout the UK and Europe, in venues including: the Royal Albert Hall, the Concertgebouwe, the Royal Festival Hall, St Martin in the Fields and the Birmingham Symphony Hall. They were the featured guest entertainers on Saga Cruises in 2013/2014 and regularly perform at The Proms, on BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM. Aside from performing as The Sorelli Ensemble, the girls enjoy a busy freelance career. They play regularly with professional orchestras, such as The BBC Symphony Orchestra, The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, The Orchestra of the Swan and The Royal Shakespeare Company. Julia has also appeared on BBC Four, Radio 3, BBC Scotland, Classic FM, Britain's Got Talent and annually plays at The Proms. She has played on pop recordings which have been distributed worldwide and her featured solo on the album 'Credere' was used as the accompaniment on the World Figure Skating Championships in 2011/2012. They take great pleasure in arranging their own music and can tailor their performances to suit the preferred styles of their clients. With a wide variety of musical repertoire, ranging from Baroque to Classical and Jazz to Film, they are able to present an entertaining programme to complement any occasion.

Q: How long does setup take? A: The Sorelli Ensemble arrive at their events an hour before their start time to as to allow for plenty of time to set up and meet with the relevant organiser.
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: As a duo we don't require too much space - a 2x2 area would suffice and we only ask for power outlets if booked to play with our amps.
Q: Do you take requests? A: Yes we do! We arrange all of our own music so can make your event even more personal by arranging your chosen song especially for you. This comes at a small extra cost.

The best wedding strings duo we could have booked!

The lovely ladies of Sorelli Ensemble are true musical experts and professionals. As soon as we saw them exhibiting at a wedding event we knew we had to book them and did so that day, as did my sister for her wedding later this year! The sound of Despacito on strings lured me in! From the moment of booking they were fast to reply and thorough. Helpfully their entire repertoire is published, as are video or audio samples of most of their work, so picking the set list was a breeze. On the day they were bright and early and happy to locate themselves all around our wedding venue, even outside when we were lucky enough to have some Great British sunshine! They were set to go at every point, keeping our guests thoroughly entertained with a great mix of music, even surprising the registrar when she didn't need to prompt them to play during the signing of the register! Needless to say we would wholeheartedly recommend Sorelli Ensemble for any wedding or event, people are still asking us now if it was Jurassic Park playing as we walked down the aisle - which it was, perfectly played on strings!
