SOUL CITY is a 7 piece party band, delivering a super-tight, all-night avalanche of classic dance songs from the Motown Soul and Disco Funk eras of the 60s, 70s and early 80s, blended with a good sprinkling of more modern dance grooves. We think the material spans all generations, and is particularly well suited to Wedding and Party gatherings. We're all about getting up, and getting down... Boogie Shoes are obligatory!!
We are all experienced professional players - the undoubted stars being our two Female singers who are incredibly gifted performers with a huge sense of fun, and a strong emphasis on engaging with their audience.
We are happy to tailor our sets to your requirements, and are happy to play your choice of music playlist through our PA during the off-stage periods.
Our quote is all-inclusive: full PA, Stage Lighting, Travel and all other Expenses. We are also fully insured for Public Liability.

Brilliant performance
Chris and co, thank you for making our wedding such a magical occasion! Our wedding breakfast overran, our wedding venue applied quite ridiculous noise restrictions akin to that of a monastery but undeterred, you set up in quick time to bring us back on schedule and you performed all of our favourites with quality and professionalism. All of the guests still present in the evening commented on how well you did, particularly in the circumstances. I would definitely book you again and keep an eye out for when they might play locally again, because I'd want to enjoy them not hindered by demand pressures of being the groom or a morning suit! Thanks again guys!
