- Spectrum DJs provide bar/club DJs, wedding & mobile discos - Open Format so we're able to play and mix any genre or style - Covering Merseyside & Cheshire, North West & North Wales - Top Rated, Highly Recommended, Ranked 8th in UK out of 2,500+ - Friendly and approachable, professional and passionate - Various package options to suit your requirements and budget - Previously played for Goodgreef in Ibiza and Members of Parliament - Regularly booked by Revolution Bars, Asda, M&S, Bank of America - Charity events done for Claire House, St Johns Hospice, Katie Piper Foundation
What to expect
We Will: - Show you videos of previous gigs, reviews from previous clients, package options to suit your requirements and budget - Provide a professional booking confirmation (complete with important details as well as amount paid and owed) - Encourage you to give us a list of songs and artists that you'd like played on the night, so we're fully prepared to make it personalised - Give you a free consultation for weddings (face to face or online, your choice) to get everything finalised so everything's perfect - Come with top-range equipment including high-spec sound and lighting, all fully insured and PAT tested (certificates available) - Turn up early and in plenty of time to set up and sound/light check, with buffer time in case there are any issues that need to be sorted - Host your event professionally with the amount of energy you want, mixed skilfully whilst putting on an entertaining performance - Display an impressive light show, from our more basic Silver packages though the standard Gold to our ultimate Platinum options - Take requests on the night, making sure all of your guests enjoy themselves and get up to dance - Leave your guests with amazing memories of your night, talking about a party that really stood out from others they've been to We Won't: - Give you only verbal confirmation that you're booked, which might be a problem when nobody turns up to play your event - Cancel your booking at the last minute, or pass it on to someone else who you didn't choose when searching other companies - Get told by the venue we're not allowed to continue because we don't have the sufficient insurance, PAT test, PLI or PRS for Music - Bring our wife/girlfriend to keep us occupied, sit behind a laptop and stare at our phone, get drunk and slur our words on the mic - Display really cheap and tacky lights that look like they've not been updated since the 1970s and don't even go to the beat - Limit your requests to 10 or 20 songs, making it partially about you but mainly playing the same set list we play at every other gig - Use some free computer software that supposedly does the work for us, essentially mismatching music and not reading the crowd - Have regular pauses between songs, or take a break from the music to jump onto the mic and waffle rubbish over and over again - Leave you and your clients with that "get what you pay for" feeling from a cheap and tacky, cheesy and dated, unprofessional disco DJ

Q: How long does setup take? A: Kid's Party, School Disco, Christening/Communion: 1 hour Basic Mobile Disco or Silver Wedding: 1 hour Standard Mobile Disco or Gold Wedding: 1.5 hours Ultimate Mobile Disco or Platinum Wedding: 2 hours
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: Roughly 10 foot long and 6 foot deep. Ideally 2 or more power points, but we can do with just 1 if needs be (most of our lighting is LED so has a low power draw despite its high output)
Q: Do you take requests? A: Yes we do, both before your event and on the night. We want to make it more personalised to you, so we don't limit the amount - we will use our experience and discretion as to whether we think they'll work well, but yes we're always open to the suggestion and request!

Sean was an absolute professional and created a proper party atmosphere to top off what was the perfect wedding. Met with my wife and I prior to the wedding to go over logistics along with particular song requests and genres etc. Left the majority up to his expert opinion and he did not disappoint. Venue staff and guests commented on how impressed they were. Superb night and hope to attend more of his events in the future!

We booked Spectrum DJ and Lighting Hire for our wedding in July 2015 and they were absolutely fantastic! On first meeting Sean prior to our wedding, my husband and I were incredibly impressed at how professional he was, arriving with a printed form to cover all the details he needed for the night - many questions that we hadn't even considered ourselves!! We had a mixture of ages ranging from mid twenties up to sixties at our wedding and the music was just superb! We gave Sean a list of songs we'd like playing for both young and old and he seamlessly weaved them into his set! He was also great at responding to requests on the night and had a fantastic attitude - nothing was too much trouble! We also used their services to do our chair covers at the wedding, which again were brilliant and at a great price! There were two suppliers on our wedding day who we wanted to especially recommend as being outstanding and Spectrum DJ and Lighting Hire are one of them! I can't recommend their services enough or tell you how happy my new husband and I were to have them DJ at our wedding - the dance floor was packed all night! Thanks again so much for making it a fantastic night!!

I booked Spectrum DJ and Lighting for a charity event in October 2015 and would highly recommend them for any event. Sean and Liam were very quick to respond to all my queries and played perfect music on the night for the range of ages attending, making it a brilliant success. Sean very generously donated £50.00 of his fee to the charity (Wirral Hospice St Johns) which was above and beyond what I expected, fabulous customer service! Thank you so much again x
