Steven Faulkner is one of the Midlands most experienced and unique performers. What sets him apart from other acoustic guitarists & singers is his ability to twist well known and loved songs into new arrangements and mashups that you wouldn't have thought possible. His vocal range and power are astounding and when coupled with his high energy guitar style, create a sound that very few are capable of. He picks his set lists from a huge and diverse range of artists ranging from classics such as Bowie, The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, the Who , Queen or Led Zeppelin, or pop acts including Aha, Erasure, Seal, or George michael, and even delving into the likes of Vanilla Ice, Eminem, Will Smith & even the Prodigy! But despite such a huge range he always gets his selection spot on to suit any audience! Just chat to him to give him an idea of what songs could work for you.

What to expect

You can expect Steven to arrive an hour before the set time, set up & sound check (can take up to an hour, but usually around 40 minutes) Unless other guidance is given Steven will start with a more chilled out vibe and get more upbeat as the gig goes on, and he will adjust the set list mid flow if the need arises. More than anything else Steven always makes the extra effort to ensure you and your guests have a great time at your event!

Outstanding performance, great value and just a really nice guy.

I booked Steve to play at my birthday party in October after seeing him perform several times in and around my local town. Each time I had seen him, he showed a wealth of experience within his performance. He ouzed confidence but was not arrogant with it and knew exactly how to appeal to the audience. At my party he did not disappoint. He was set up and ready well before the party started. He was open to how I wanted the night to run but also offered a professional opinion from previous experience. His catalogue of songs is immense. Although predominantly alternative, he is also able to put his own twist on more mainstream songs and knows how to fill the dance floor. I would highly recommend Steve for any event or special occasion.
