Act Introduction
Singer Richard Evans has been performing for most of his life; starting from singing in his primary school choir, to regular appearances on the pub and club scene both home and abroad. Following a karaoke performance of one of Bublé's songs, he was encouraged to persue his passion for singing. He set up his own one-man act covering Michael's songs, and won a number of awards and talent competitions. In 2008 my father bought us tickets to go and see Michael Buble in Cardiff. It was then my father encouraged me to sing his songs as my voice suited this style. I started to listen and watch Michael Buble do his thing and thought I could maybe put a set together. I continued to watch you tube footage for hours on end to perfect his style. This made me determined to start knocking the doors on local bars and clubs offering my Michael Buble tribute act. It wan’t long before I had secured bookings in these bars and clubs and also the Hotels, as my reputation started to grow. I have performed from Hair salons to Hotels and enjoyed every minute of it. Between 2018-2020 I performed over 500 shows in Tenerife in Hotels and Bars, and was nominated Best Newcomer at the Tenerife Entertainment Awards. Singing is my passion and may it long continue to.
