Telegram Sam, a tribute to the music of Marc Bolan and T.Rex, performing the greatest hits in a 90 minute show! The band previously played together in another T.Rex Tribute band (now disbanded), playing venues around the country including Butlins, and festivals such as Tribfest and Wannasee. With a shared love of the music and a desire to keep Marc Bolan's legacy going, the band got together and Telegram Sam was formed, with a new front man to bring a high energy show to venues! The band has a rich depth of experience, with members performing in bands such as Les McKeown's Legendary Bay City Rollers Bootleg Counterfeit Sweet Witch Cross Bon Jovi tributes Noxcuse and many more!

What to expect

90 minutes or 2 x 45 minute sets, including hits such as 20th Century Boy, Get it On, Hot Love and many more. The 6 piece line up includes guitars, bass, drums, keyboards and percussion, along with 3 backing vocals to deliver a rich sound. * Occasionally the band goes out as a 5 piece without the percussionist, subject to availability. We will confirm this when booking.

Band Bio

Telegram Sam is a band with a rich history of musicianship. The band’s experience spans many years and many bands, most recently with us all together, celebrating T Rex music, for a number of years. The music of Marc Bolan & T.Rex is always very close to our hearts. We love to keep the music alive in the stages of the venues we have loved to play for many years, as well as exciting new venues, to broaden our horizons. We also relish seeing all the people we’ve met through the years in the Bolan scene and making new, rock loving friends. Telegram Sam delivers an exciting show, fronted by Noel Ashton, with the whole band bringing their vast experience of performing all the hits of Marc Bolan and T.Rex.
