The Bees Knees are available for any occasion, be it a wedding, birthday, corporate event, bar/bat mitzvah, charity event, anniversary or any other special event, whatever your needs you can be sure of a full evenings entertainment of party tunes to get the dance floor full for the whole night Playing a variety of music from 50s to modern day pop, rock, ska and motown, the band is available in various formats from duo to 5 piece, comprising of up to 2 guitars, bass, drums, saxophone, lead and backing vocals. If you have any special requests that are not in the existing repertoire please get in touch, we have learnt several songs specifically for first dances and birthday requests and would be happy to help if we can! The line up can be tailored to fit the feel of your event best, so whether you're looking for a full band to keep everybody dancing or a more stripped back lineup for a more toned down environment, they’ve got it covered. Our lead singer also performs solo under the name Cherry Valentine Music. The Bees Knees have played all over the UK at a wide variety of events, and they really do get the party going. They can provide all of their own sound and lighting equipment, and can provide a DJ service during breaks for an interruption free evenings entertainment. Requests can be given directly to the band for playlist requests on the night.

What to expect

We will bring all of our own sound and lighting equipment, usually arrive at the event 1-2 hours before the event to set up, we will also need to sound check. Once this is done we will set up a playlist to DJ before we start playing, we will also DJ in between our two sets as well. When we perform we always get the crowd involved singing along and dancing, can take advance song requests too.
