Yarrr! The Captain's Beard perform upbeat pirate-themed rum-driven folk rock that's bound to get all the drunken sailors dancing. We've got everything you need to get a party started, years of experience playing birthdays, weddings and corporate functions all over the UK, high quality musicianship both instrumentally and when singing 4 part harmony sea shanties.

What to expect

We'll bring crab buckets of energy to performing everything from well known covers such as "Dirty old Town" and "I would walk 500 miles" to Irish folk bangers like "I'll tell me ma" and "The Wild Rover." The perfect band for a pirate, mermaid or seaside event or for a wedding or birthday party where you're looking for something different to make your special day completely unique.

Q: How long does setup take? A: 1 hour. We can usually do it faster but this is a safe estimate.
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: We've been known to fit in small spaces but it's nice to have enough room for about 5 people and a drum kit. We should only need 2 or 3 power sockets.
Q: Do you take requests? A: If we have at least a month to learn the song properly we can take requests.
